Re: Taylor is a Jet

What a whore he is. He leaves, the Dolphins win the division, and he can't wait to get back there. He goes back there, they falter, and he signs with the team that looks like it's the team to beat - the Jets. I've said this time and time again and I'll say it again: Taylor is playing on his last legs. I did not want the Pats to sign him and now that he's with the Jets, I hope that locker room breaks down. Believe it or not, the Dolphins actually got the better end of this deal as they can now start Cameron Wake without having to hear Taylor b!tch and moan.

The Jets fans will not be so thrilled, even if he is wearing green and white

The Jets must have decided to go in that direction after we re-signed Pierre Woods this week. See, they're keeping up with us, not the other way around.

Taylor has no integrity. I thought he genuinely hated the Green Beans and their fans. Just lends credence to the notion that a man will do anything for money.

Re: Jason Taylor to Jets

As a Jets fan I hate this move. Nearly 4 million dollars for a declining diva that has done nothing but trash the Jets and their fans. Wow.

Re: Jason Taylor is a New York Jet - 1 Year $3.7M

Waiting on Jet Trolls/Chicken Littles who say that signing THIS aged player to a one year deal is somehow better than when we do it.

That said, it'll be an interesting game when we see the Jets, that's for sure.

Re: Jason Taylor is a New York Jet - 1 Year $3.7M

How did they get away with giving $3.7 million under the 8 final teams rule?

I think it is a good signing for the Jets. I think it is one of their better moves of the offseason. Didn't love either the LT signing or Cromartie trade, but thought the Holmes trade had low risk (in terms of what they gave up) with good upside.

Re: Jason Taylor is a New York Jet - 1 Year $3.7M

That's a massive overpay, even if I think Taylor still has something left on the tank. But this is a one-year deal in an uncapped season so I guess they can't really lose with this pickup.

It really isn't a good signing for the Jets. Taylor is about finished. Think Corey Dillon in 2005.

F*ck Jason Taylor.

Re: Jason Taylor is a New York Jet - 1 Year $3.7M

The fact that BB never even gave a hint of going after him this year, unlike last year, along with the fact that the Fish left him hanging out even with the Jesters sniffing around, tells me that Taylor doesn't have much, if anything left in the tank.

Glad that this is done for the season.....and actually happy the Jesters overpaid for him....at least IMHO.

Taylor played better than you give him credit for last year.

Indeed.

At this point, is he even better than Bryan Thomas? 'Cause we know he isn't better than Pace.

Re: Jason Taylor is a New York Jet - 1 Year $3.7M

This probably means the end of the Jets interest in Adalius

No, as most Dolphin fans will tell you (and as one actually did tell you in another thread), he really didn't.

Re: Jason Taylor is a New York Jet - 1 Year $3.7M

Good signing by the Jets. The one area that team has any sort of depth is linebacker, so they can protect Taylor from overuse.

There may be some truth to the rumors about Thomas getting cut. I just want to know how they are going to get Gholston on the field?

As for the signing, the Jets are now looking more and more like the yankees. If they end up winning a championship it will be viewed as they bought it, and if they don't it will be another huge Jets letdown (aka standard operating procedure)

I wonder if the Pats are waiting to cut Adalius so other teams would move on
