Good bye Lowe!
Yasir seeing Landry in camp...

All i remember was @captain stone ‘s name for him.. ‘Yessir go right around me’ or something like that

Durant offers versatility
Played LT in USFL
In the NFL he played RG and RT
Correct. I'm totally fine with him as a depth piece. As I've said with all the positions on the roster we play a 17 game schedule and have a late bye week this year. Depth is paramount. Im sure Vrabel and his staff will take care of the players treatments, massages ect. But the NFL is a grueling sport.. need depth for sure.

It's funny... I never heard anyone complaining about 10 year starter at LT matt light. That's who Campbell's comparable too.. I actually think Campbell is more nastier.
He looks bigger than Light.

With the way Vrabel wants to play violent football
A swing OL depth piece is what is needed
He also played LG in the UFL in 2024
So he has played every position but C
He was not good in 2021. But it was his 1st year
The last 3 years in the UFL has groomed him into a good player
Let’s see if that translates back to the NFL
I think he will play decently

Yes as Vrabel said he wants to be violent and on both lines of scrimmage.
I can see him in as a swing player, extra lineman on goal line, end of game, milking the clock if we are blowing out a team. Yes I remember here in 2021..

IMO, Durant is competing with the guards for one of the 2-3 roster spots available. I don't see why we would cut the sever below.
IOL COMPETITORS (pick 2-3)
Strange, Sow, Robinson, Robinson, Brown, Conley, Durant
===========
I don't the situation has changed with the latest two transactions.
We lost a candidate for backup OL who played several positions.
We signed a candidate for backup OL who plays several positions.
===============
THE SEVEN MOST LIKELY TO MAKE THE 53
OT: Campbell, Lowe, Moses, Wallace
C: Bradbury, Wilson
OG: Onwenu, ???, ???, ???
======
FOR ME
We have 2 starting OT's and two backup OT's.

I am much less confident about our starting LG and 1-2 backup OG's.

I think this is a spot on over view, and see it very similarly.
I see depth vs potential upside as the deciding factor. does Durant currently offer more immediately than Wallace or Marcus Bryant offer shortly? assuming everyone is healthy, Moses and Campbell hold down the OT spots, then who will be the better p;ayer after them? Wallave, Bryant, Lowe, Durant. immediately (if healthy) it may be Lowe. game 4 or game 8, it may be Wallace or Bryant.
DRaft pedigree it says Wallace will be the better prospect, but draft pedigree is often wrong.

Apparently he played across the line in the UFL... If he sticks, he's a good depth swing tackle/guard...
