According to the quote he has, when he admitted that Jerry the owner would have fired Jerry the GM. So why wasn't there a follow up question of "Why doesn't he bring in a professional GM?", when he has admitted he has done a poor job.

Everyone that says fire the gm is hysterical. Who with a big name would want to work with that fool constantly meddling with what your trying to do?

It's hopeless, Jones would have to either outright sell the team because we know he can't keep his nose out of anything or get lucky and hire someone young that just happens to be a gm prodigy. Someone who can balance Jerry's lunacy and convince him he's making good football decisions.

Jones is an egomaniac but Garret's not a good coach and some of his in game decisions are down right awful at times. Not sure why Jones the GM is at fault they roster some great talent, it's Jones the owner that sucks.
