Efe Obada, a Londoner, was signed by the Dallas Cowboys this past spring. There are some incredible elements to his story:
"Obada’s move is an extraordinary one. He was separated from his mother and trafficked into England at the age of 10 before being left homeless on the streets of London – he had also never played American football until last year.
...
After his arrival in England Obada eventually found a home through contacts of his mother but he had a tough upbringing and saw three of his friends murdered"

Obada played one year of Football for the London Warriors* and then attended a regional combine. He's a 6-6, 255lb DE/TE project who put up the following numbers:
40 - 4.63
10 yard - 1.53. To put that into perspective, that's as fast as Chris Conley who ran a 4.35. At 255!!
He also has 35.6" arms, longer than Nate Solder and an 83" wingspan which would have been best at the most recent combine and equalled Jadeveon Clowney in '14.
The Cowboys signed him in the spring and whilst he hasn't seen too many pre-season snaps (17), he led all 4-3 DEs in terms of pass-rush productivity according to PFF (7/17 pressures) and survived the first round of cutdowns.
Remarkable back story and a remarkably freakish athlete. As a Brit, I'm very much rooting for him, except for in week five
*Before this pre-season, he had only ever played five games of football.
