OT: Dumpster fire in Jacksonville.

Why did they hire this guy, who is a walking scandal and has no NFL experience, to lead a rebuilding process? I missed all of it…did everyone think they were wrong to hire him?
But, in his defense, at least he’s not some bum who wins a mere 6 SBs and doesn’t answer media questions correctly ! I mean, he drafted Lawrence. A bonafide mega star. Other personnel people in the league, on their way to multiple rings, only draft a few future HoFers.

I was a bouncer at the Foxy Lady strip club in Providence back in the late 70's...FWIW most of the girls are pretty damaged upstairs although I remember two girls who attended Brown University and were psych majors. They made pretty good money in those days.

Ok. A Bouncer at a strip club has more to tell than just that.

So let's go Paul Harvey.

So sad that the morally superior internet judge & jurists didn't collect a pelt today

For score keepers out there:
Urban............................1 perky blond pelt
Morality police..........0 pelts

I give Urban some credit. First guy I've seen sit on a stool and push in a stool at the same time.

He has lost most of the players because he went and tried to treat them like kids by not telling the truth. I hear they laughed him off the podium when he said it was nothing and that the girl was just dancing.

So it's about the money after all.. if Meyers resigns, he doesn't get the guaranteed money. If he's fired, he takes it.

That's what's important to Khan.. not his team.
It depends. If Meyer got fired for cause he wouldn't get his money, but I do not know that this incident rises to that level. Anyone know how much the contract is worth?

a friend of mine since I was young became part owner in the 70's along with a famous bookie named "Poochie". My friend got pinched and had to do time so I worked the door with another guy and made sure no d!ckheads got out of line with the girls or the bartenders."Poochie" used the basement to basically run sports betting and numbers. Everything was paid off. Providence ran that way since the mid-sixties until Cianci went to prison in the 90's. The only time there would be any problems were when the state police did an investigation. The Prov. police and the mob had an agreement and basically let things run themselves as long as no one got out of line. Back then I could walk down Empire St. at 2 or 3 in the morning with a wad of cash hanging out of my pockets and go to Haven Brother's for a couple of gaggers and a coffee milk...no problems ever>

Today, Providence is a friggin' war zone after 5pm.

I have to say after hearing from some of the posters of what goes on in these strip clubs that I think I need to go to one for purely scientific research reasons.
I highly recommend the Windsor Ballet for your research

No disclosure required for coaching contracts. We don't even know how much BB is making these days.

He didn't draft Lawrence. Lawrence was on the Jags radar long before that.

I went to grad school with someone who danced at the Foxy Lady (well after the 70s and, unfortunately for me, not Brown though). She would tell us stories of the clientele and how her and the other dancers felt about them. It basically turned me off to strip clubs forever. Shattered the illusion of the whole thing for me.

Pardon my ignorance, but...what's a Gagger?

My daughter went to Brown in the early 2000s and had Patriot cheerleader in her sorority, but no strippers. I think the admissions department at Brown had been trying to upgrade the student body.

Robert Kraft, your and your orchid spa scandal can now take a backseat. Your mantle of monumental stupidity has now been usurped.
It only cost Early Bird Bob $2M+ for "his video" not to be released.

boiled saugy hot dog all the way...mustard, relish onions...oh, and celery salt

There's no way they could ever know. Back in the day I had some interesting conversations with a handful of strippers and one thing I found was that the good ones typically had commutes of 30 plus minutes- they worked where the odds of them running into someone they knew during the day was really low.

I'm pretty sure Meyers will lose a lot more than that if he walks away.

I moved from Providence down to the beach in Charlestown RI in the late 80's. There must have been five or six dancers that lived in town at the time for that exact reason. A lot of these girls would get stalked by creeps leaving work.
