I Understand you want both teams healthy. And the two week exposure = more money for the league.

That said, would you like it more if there was just 7 days between the title and SB games?

Personally, I find the two weeks insufferable. There's more time to worry about things. And I feel the players get tired of the hoopla too.

What do ya'll think?

Yes I like it and the Pro Bowl should either be abolished or put back to after the Super Bowl.

I prefer to maintain the continuity of one week, keeping the players in the same routine.

But that's not going to happen. The tradeoff for a host city spending ridiculous amounts of money for the event is that they get to have two weeks worth of activities and interviews, showcasing themselves as a travelogue destination. Hosting the super bowl is a huge carrot that the NFL dangles in exchange for public tax dollars being spent on a new stadium that gets used ten times a year. Reduce the time in between to one week and hosting the super bowl is somewhat less appealing.

I'd prefer it to be one week, as well, but JMT57 has it right. No way that's happening.

I think Tyreek Hill is a piece of human trash and most of Kansas City in itself is white trash? Enjoy the Super Bowl

Baseball ASG is the only one that resembles a real game....
I genuinely hate all of them. But at least the other sports don't decide home field advantage in the championship game/series. Imagine the SuperBiwl being in Cincinnati this year because the AFC won last year's ProBowl.

In this day and age, 1 week isn't even remotely practical. Hell, it takes the players a couple days just to get their family travel plans in order. 1 week is just way too soon given everything that needs to get done.

I don't really follow baseball, nor do I even care, but I don't think they do that anymore.

I prefer 2 weeks to the 40 weeks the Chiefs have between games.

I like the two weeks. Older you get the easier it is to savor the trip. Get players healthy, more time for game plans.

The only allstar game that was worth a damn was Baseball. Used to be must watch and each side absolutely wanted to win. It was a matter of pride and players went all out. Alas the other 3 finally rubbed off and now its just another game with players on pitch counts with complaining from organizations that you played their player too much. Can you imagine in 1980 how intense the all star game would be if home field advantage was decided by that game?

Guess you don’t have to worry

Yes, it's perfect. The culmination of the season deserves an extra week of hype.

I also like the Pro-Bowl being next week. Not that I'd watch it, but at least there's a 1% chance I go "oh yeah, that's on....whatever" as opposed to a 0% chance of me watching the week after the Super Bowl.

the media is insufferable over 2 weeks, but agreed, it is necessary

1 week, since theres 17 games now

Yes, because I have a cruise next week, get back the day before the SB, so I miss all the media BS
