I liked it how it was when I was a kid (surprise!). One week between the super bowl and the conference championships with media day on some random weekday afternoon. Different super bowl logos for each year and then the Pro Bowl in Hawaii (not dumpy Orlando) the week after.
The extra week is miserable. Kills whatever momentum existed heading into there game and replaces it with a sickening hype train. The only entity that benefits is the media.
Not normally, but this year I need a break to let my blood pressure settle down. it's been a great couple weeks of football, especially for years in which the pats didn't go deep. Let the players have that week to bask in their championships and draw up plans for the final head to head. Let's enjoy the anticipation.
I genuinely hate all of them. But at least the other sports don't decide home field advantage in the championship game/series. Imagine the SuperBiwl being in Cincinnati this year because the AFC won last year's ProBowl.
I imagine a system where the Super Bowl gets played in all 32 stadiums on a 32 year schedule. Eff the weather. Either the guys playing are football players or they're not. And every city/state/region with a team should get a shot at hosting.
