OT: David Tepper Throwing Drink @ Jags Game

Been a clown for some time. This ups the ante.

He is such a loose cannon.

Wonder how many lawyers are trying to track the fan down. Am sure there was ice in the glass that tore into his back. Some of the alcohol got into his eyes and is now making him unable to see properly and missing work to boot. Not to mention the mental trauma of being humiliated broadcasted to the world.

Sounds reasonable enough to leverage an out-of-court settlement. Plus, the aggravating factor of having to see the man's noncompetitive football team provide no entertainment value. What's a reasonable remedy? Maybe $10k? ;)

There is steep competition for the NFL’s most idiotic owner. Tepper watches the Irsay’s and Bidwell’s of the league and doesn’t want to lose out on the title so he says “here, I’ll throw my drink.”

Badumpbump.

Hold my beer....only don't.

What a loser... Kind of like a specific poster here, amirite?

5 Million, if a woman can sue Hershey for that much, that kid deserves more.

Looks like a "lose first round pick" kind of infraction to me.

...not that I have any ulterior motives to suggest such a thing.

You forgot about the religious angle as well. He desecrated the man’s body.

Wrong forum. Have done this like 4 times since yesterday.

I like clicking on most recent portion of the thread title which seems to always lead me to the thread below it. Annoying!

Unfortunately, the Panthers don't have a first round pick... they traded it to Chicago to jump up and get Bryce Young last year...

now, if we could just get 100 year old ( soon to be 101, you go girl! ) Virginia McCasky involved in a huge scandal (say maybe selling HGH tainted Geritol?) between now and the draft...
hmmm GIF

25 mill. If a woman can sue McDonald's for a hot cup of coffee..

You got lied to by corporate shills. The lady didn't sue for 25 million. She sued for much less. Mostly expenses related to her medical bills.

What they conveniently leave out:

1) The coffee was not just hot. It was of a temperature extreme enough to cause third degree burns which required skin grafting. This, as you might be aware, is not normal temperature even for fresh, out of the pot coffee. It was at 180-190 degrees.

2) She was not driving. The coffee was not between her legs.

3) The 2.7Million she was awarded after medical expenses, was punitive. This is because McDonald's had been REPEATEDLY warned about the temperature of their coffee and had done nothing about it. By repeatedly, I mean there were more than 700 incidents in the prior ten years.

4) She initially sued for just 20K to cover past and future expenses. McDonald's offered 800 and refused to go any higher. That's when it moved to trial.

5) She didn't get anywhere near what she was awarded because the judge reduced the 2.7M to 480K.

Yeah that case was completely justified. McDonald's basically served her magma and she got horrific injuries.

I know all about it. The point was IF someone could get awarded millions for a frivolous law suit than the guy should be able to get more if he wanted to take legal action. Anyway you slice it stupid move, from a stupid owner.

His punishment should be the same as a fan would receive for throwing something at an opposing fan. I doubt he gets any punishment close to that.
