I am a strong Christian but I have questions. Was this God intervention or medical advancement in technology being what it is today, Damar being in top shape or combination of above contributing to getting this fantastic news of eyes being opened etc?
I have doubts that if urgent care was not present on the field, prayers will have turned into "perhaps it was God's will". Not trying to start anything, just think this was really about the advancement in medical knowledge, equipment and technology that have saved his life.

Probably a bit of all of it.
It's been decades since they didn't have proper ways for ambulances to get to the field to get a player loaded. Even the NHL has changed things up so that the ambulance can get to the doors where the Zambonis drive through so that they can get in and out faster.

AEDs being at sporting events is good for both PLAYERS and FANS alike.
