They didn't take away the privilege to let players "play". Everybody outside of New England knew what they were doing. Willie McGinist admitted what they were doing. Their method of play was to hold, grab, and do whatever they need to receivers to stop them from getting separation.

The infamous picture of Pollard being rung up on that 4th down in the 2003 AFC Championship game was the icing on the cake. The Patriots wouldn't even let WRs run their routes. You actually think the personnel you had in 2001 was good enough to stop the greatest show on turf?

Why do you think Ty Law led the league in pass interferences when he arrived in New York? Because he couldn't do what he did in New England for years that made him this "elite" corner.

NFL Network had a damn segment on the thing, you hear the embarrassment in the radio commentary they were showing to you as they show that last drive effort by the Colts. Name the games where a phantom P.I. was put out there. Funny, we wouldn't even have a dynasty if it weren't for Walt Coleman's horrific call in 2001, and you want to talk about referees? You wouldn't be on this forum, on this bandwagon, or a fan of this team if Coleman didn't make that call.

The games this year where a "phantom" P.I. was called was in the second Texans game on Pierre Garcon. That was reviewed by the VP of officiating, otherwise you're reaching to your ass for excuses because those two interferences on Saturday were blatant interferences. Just because they called them in favor of the Colts on Saturday doesn't mean they were phantom or fake.

I already know what your reply is going to be. "Why are you here", or "why are you making excuses?". Expecting a logical retaliation from you is nearly impossible - enjoy the rest of the playoffs.

It's exactly what pretty much every fanbase in the league said about the Pats from the time of the tuck rule through about '05, also.

Probably about as much as there is to the Colts perception now. Every time an official throws a flag that's favorable to the Colts now, it's because Polian paid them off (and not, for instance, because Ray Lewis actually hit the receiver's helmet with his helmet, or because the defender actually pushed Reggie Wayne).

Seriously? Are you that dumb? Law was in his prime when he was a Patriot. Of course his play is going to decline when he got older. Law was still a good corner in 2004 (so after the rule change) before he got injured. Got any more theories?

Take off the blinders buddy. It's amazing that fans from other teams (on different forums to boot) have said the exact same thing. The Colts get aided by officiating more than other team in the NFL. Don't even try to dispute this.

As for examples, I'm not going to go game-by-game, but here's a couple for you from playoff games.

2005 Divisional: a Colt clearly fumbles, Polamalu recovers it. Somehow the play is overturned, giving the Colts a chance to tie the game up

2006 AFC Championship: Ellis Hobbs is flagged for faceguarding in the endzone. That was not a rule and the NFL later admitted it was a terrible call. The ball gets moved to the 1 and the Colts tie the game on the next play.

If you want one from this year aside from the Texans game, go look at Bethea's interception in the endzone at the end of the first half against the Cardinals. He grabs Boldin, pulls him back a yard, and catches the ball.

Like I said, I try not to watch Colts games because it's the same **** every game.

If you Google "nfl bad pass interference call" and "nfl pass interference call", yes the COlts are mentioned, by Pats fans, and among the main 30 results are numerous mentions of other teams/fanbases who are livid about some call some other team got (none of which are the Colts) that was awful and how they "should've won".

Face it folks, the Colts are very good and they're one of the Pats biggest rivals. So people around here sling mud. It's expected, but its hardly league wide sentiment.

Tough choice. Two teams that I never want to see win. I went with the Jets, hoping that they get blown out in the Super Bowl.

What I really want to see, though, is some over-the-top, borderline delusional trash talk out of Ryan this week. Stuff like:

• Sanchez is a better QB than Manning
• The Jets would have beaten the Colts in the regular season even if they didn't pull their starters
• Manning was lucky to leave that game when he did, because the Jets were just about to turn up the pressure
