just from watching abit of the 2nd half, maroney looks way too tentative in his catches and runs, he gets the ball and it's like he stops and surveys without moving forward immediately...i don't get it.
well cameron added some wrinkles sure, but norv installed the offense, but i mean if you don't want to believe it, it's coolI know that they CLAIM Turner installed that offense, but its pure ignorance to think that there weren't things changed over time. Like the verbage. If teams use the same verbage over and over, the defenses of today are smart enough to remember it and they will know what to look for.
ah ok, i'm still in the 2nd ne drive of the 3rd qtr, pretty early on...And just how many plays did Maroney play in the 2nd half? 4-5? Yes, he was tentative because of his RIBS. Its why, by the 4th quarter, he was on the bench. Because of his injury to them... and to his shoulder.
I disagree.
I think Welker is a better player and will be much more productive, but the Patriots have plenty of WR options to overcome a welker loss.
The Chargers are weak at WR even with Parker, and maybe th eweakest WR corp in the entire NFL without him.
oh yeah we definitely have weaknesses, but hell not as bad as denver, and kc wow.... oakland i won't even bother with. we do have a harder task in front of us than NE though, at least to reach the playoffs again, as NE has a cake walk division IMOWoulda, Coulda, Shoulda, are all crying in the beer. The Colts won. They may have been only half a good football team, but they won.
You guys are as responsible for the Colts win as anything. Traveling to SD and back and getting all beat up while winning had a price. It was paid in the Flu ,and the exhaustion of both adequate players and good players being worn out by the second half of the colt's game.
Nonetheless the Colts won.
Give 'em a trophy as they hadn't done it before; and won't do it again. Now their team resembles what's left after a team plane crash. You can't lose 10 starters from a half-a-team and expect to be very good. They are keeping up a good face, but they're whisling by the graveyard.
The Bolts fans need to recognize the weaknesses you have. They are WILB, SILB and WR1 and WR2. That and a new and not very distinguished or pedigreed Coaching staff. AJ got into an argument with an old pro ILB, and let/forced him to leave. He also did so with a 200 win Coach. AJ is a talented GM, but he doesn't think his excrement stinks. Of course he is wrong.
Vince J is a long ball threat, but is not either one of the control-a-game, complete starting WRs that most teams possess.
I suspect that you Bolts fans wil suffer the consequences of AJ's hubris. And don't look now, but Shanahan has been rebuilding/retooling the damn mountain donkeys.
