This mystifies me. This was the best season they have had in years, who is gonna do better? Al Davis is out of his mind!

Remember too that with the possibility of a lockout, some owners will feel it's better to hang onto whomever they have rather than have a new coach trying to get organized along with the distraction of a shortened season. I would assume that weighed in on Del Rio and Kubiak staying put. Carolina, on the other hand, was a different story, they really had no choice but to let Fox go.

That, and you can't use Al Davis as an example to compare other owners with. He's been in his own bats**t world for years now.

And the really funny part is Al could have had a brand-spankin'-new stadium in Los Angeles, but he turned it down and moved back to Oakland. The reason? The league wanted him to share the stadium with another team.

So now instead of having a new stadium in the second-biggest media market in the country, he's back in that ancient dump in Oakland. :ugh:
