I'm still hoping they pull off a win or 2 and buy themselves another year.

I just don't think it's a good thing to have to hit the reset button again. But if they don't give us reason not to we might have no other choice.
Why would you want them back? You are only delaying the rebuild.

Josh Allen said he made me the QB I am today.. Steve wilks said hey I did my job all last season all the way to the superbowl.
Here are the rankings for Daboll offenses.

Seems Allen made Daboll not the other way around.

I said it in my post I don't want to reset everything so quickly.

But I don’t understand that. Why wait? Why put up with another year of bad and forestall the future? Do you have any faith these guys can get the job done? Do you have any faith Jerod Mayo can be a SB winning HC? Has Elliot Wolf’s decisions given you any hope he is capable of building a championship team?

A lot of teams struggle in the first year of a new regime.

A lot of teams struggle in the first year of a new regime.
Out of all the coaches in the NFL with 7 plus wins only 1 (Campbell) won less than 8 games in his first season.
2 of them are first year coaches and 8 of the other 10 made the playoffs and the average was 10 wins.

So a lot of bad coaches struggle the first year, most good ones don’t.

I question why Bob Kraft would hire a new coach/coordinators and put them in charge of our rebuild? IMO, our situation is just as much a trainwreck as the Bears. I also question if thunderstick would make a change if the last five games aren't an improvement over the Miami game. He just doesn't want to spend money.
Maybe Kraft has seen examples of teams with new coaches starting off poorly but came around after a couple of years of putridity.
Maybe Kraft actually sees some potential in Mayo and is willing to give him a chance.
Maybe Kraft sees that having so little talent makes it difficult for brand new coaches.

I question why fans have lost their patience. They were supposed to be lousy and they are.

ya, but the plan was to throw a short pass in the middle of the field, take the timeout, and kick the field goal. and professor williams decided to do otherwise. so if eberflus takes the timeout, they are out of field goal range with no timeouts. I guess that's better than what happened, but I can imagine them on the sideline thinking, "surely this donkey is not going to let the clock run out."
Once again we see a player screw up and the coach gets blamed, which is as crazy to me as seeing a player make a great play and the coach getting the credit.

Caleb Williams and nobody else lost that game. By the time anyone knew what was happening Williams had already burned enough clock away to force the HC's hand. WTF was he doing anyway? He looked like he was doing the chicken dance.

I’m afraid another year of this staff will be a waste and so many offensive minded head coaches in this hiring cycle.

I’d consider Joe Brady as well.
They could trade Maye instead. He tends to make mistakes at crucial times.

The Pats could get a boatload of picks from one of those teams with a superior offensive minded coach and use them to load up the team.

I'd rather maximize Drake and his abilities.. we've seen how it's been without a QB I'm Foxboro. Just ugly!

Bears have 1 more win than NE (though NE pasted CHI)
Bears score 3.5 more pts/game than NE
Bears give up 3.5 fewer points/game than NE

So.........If Eberflus is a "trainwreck".....what does that make Mayo?
In Bill's last year here he was 4-13. Does that make Bill a trainwreck too?
The reason the Pats beat the Bears is because their QB was a trainwreck.
The reason the Bears have a better record is because the Pats have the worst roster in the league.

Just like always. The players make the coaches and not the other way around.
