Glad to hear you had successful surgery. Happy you are up and about. I'm still recovering from fcking foot surgery after 4 months. All I can say is stick to the program. Do your PT exercises and stretches. Lay off the booze and smokes while you heal. It will feel better over time.

The human body is ridiculously complex. I had the joint where the big toe connects to the foot replaced with a metal one last year. It hurt for about 6 months, gradually subsiding, until I forgot all about it. Then it started up again with COVID, and faded as the virus symptoms did. It was like the metal joint got arthritis from COVID. So the inflammation they ascribe to COVID found its way to that weak point.

Interestingly enough, there have been more than a few cases of people with Pacemakers getting Coivd that ended up having to have the leads replaced because Covid had a reaction with them and they ended up causing a bacterial infection. I've heard of people with other sorts of metal implants in the both ALSO having issues.
