OT: Apps for Droid or IPhone for Patriots Games?

Does anyone have any recommendations for the best apps for a Droid or Iphone to catch the Patriots telecast or at least the audio of the game? I see a few out there but I don't want to waste a few weeks experimenting.

I know some of the radio stations have apps but I haven't tried to see if the games come up also.

You can pick up 98.5 on the AOL radio app for the games. You can also get the WEEI app to listen to all the pats talk during the week..

That combined with sunday ticket allow me to survive football season in FL

I see the Patriots Game Day Live App if you're a premium seat member. That looks good for stadium people.

I see a few good ones but many of them are NFL type packages that want $$$. I don't want to spend the $$$ unless someone else has tried it and likes it.

I found a free NFL Mobile App from Verizon Wireless that says it broadcasts audio of all the games, tracks fantasy players ...


It says you need VCast video and you can get the Thursday and sunday night games.

I'm getting closer ....

I don't like streaming Radio to my phone, as it destroys battery life and I'm usually not home ( watching the games selected for me by the deities at FOX/CBS) so I use an app called SportTacular by Yahoo. It gives you up to date stats, field position and recent play selection. It's more less what you get on NFL.com, just a little less fancy.

It did not show up when I searched NFL and/or Patriots in the app search.

That's why I made the thread ... sometimes there are good apps that don't show up in a search.

My boy plays premier soccer sometimes during the Sunday 1:00 games.

When it's his turn to sit I can listen and/or watch my Patriots.

I love Verizon's NFL app...it blows the Sprint version from the last couple years out of the water. As long as you have the data package it's all free. It has the radio broadcasts of the game, and it even streams the NFL Red Zone channel.

If you have Sirius/XM, for an extra $2.99 a month, you can stream their radio feed on your computer or smartphone.

Type NFL in search box , and you will get 98.5 the sports Hub that airs ALL patriots and Bruin games LIVE
