OT: Anybody know of a decent Sox message board?

The posters on the ESPN.com message board make Red Sox nation look like the worst fanbase in pro sports. It's all a bunch of Shaugnessy wannabes who like to s**t on any and all slumping players, whine about every managerial decision, and pat themselves on the back about how much smarter they are than anybody in the organization.

I know Patsfans.com has a Sox board, but it's pretty quiet -- anybody know of any good Sox boards outside of SOSH?

I haven't been able to find one, which really makes me appreciate what a gem this site is.

Sosh is more for browsing than posting, well unless you get an "inside" connection.

The official Red Sox forums are pretty good. Although yankee fans like to troll there and drum up the occasional Red Sox Sux posts.

Out of curiosity, are you a fan of another baseball team, or one of the many Pats fans (understandably) annoyed at how much more media attention the Sox get in Boston?

No and yes.

I have no favorite baseball team, I just do fantasy for baseball. I know how often every player brushes his team but don't know who's in first place

But, yes, I do get annoyed at the media, and fan, attention the Red Sox get over the Patriots. I shouldn't have said I hate them but they annoy me.

The Vacuum caused by the abrupt departure of the Yankee trolls has been filled these last couple of days by some utterly clueless Blue Jay trolls. Weird, I always thought Canuks were nice

Sons Of Sam Horn, a message board that I believe spun off from the Sox subforum at MLB.com. They're pretty hard core about post content and got a huge boost when Kurt Schilling and John Henry each contributed for a time.

redsoxnation.net is a pretty cool Sox messaqge board. Plenty of traffic and decent down to earth people.
