A 5th or 6th for Deebo and 4th or 5th for Kupp sign a beast on the FA market. Like it.

Short/intermediate term WR problem solved. Go hard after one of the LTs and fill some other voids in FA especially on D. Draft the most talented players available in the Draft regardless of position (within reason).

I think I am going to be a broken record on this process, as I see it as the fastest route back to winning.
I like this as a way to monetize our cap space and minimize draft pick comp. Don't ask Niners or Rams to shoulder any of the comp, but give up less in picks. Prob other teams to target that way as well for veterans with high cost, short term deals that help reset culture even if you only get a year or two of tread on tires. These posts saying why trade these for the type of guys if realistically competing isn't in their time frame, well, winning more now, and creating a culture, is critical. Similar to the 2001 free agent off-season with lots of mid tier, culture signings that, well, worked out a little better than plan

Who is "they"?

I can't imagine they watched his tape last year and said, "He's better than Mike Onwenu".

I wouldn't be opposed to moving on from both of them, but Robinson sucks. I don't understand the love he gets.
He was a Rookie Tommy: he could improve we had $hitty Coaches all-around.

He was a rookie who is really bad at playing offensive line.

I would much rather give a 3rd for Deebo than give Tee Higgins 30 million+ a year.
Any Fan who wants to Trade a 3rd for this Deebo Samuel have lost all credibility in my book.

A 4th is too high IMO.
Yeah and the 49ers have already showed their hands. 5th Rounder at best take it or leave it.

If we agree to a 4th Kyle Shanahan will fly Deebo to Gillette himself.
The days of him being 1200-1500 yards from scrimmage are over. It looks like he's due 29m or so over the next two years, which is probably fine, as long as everyone tempers expectations on the player. I do think he's better than anyone in the WR room now, by a lot, and acquiring him doesn't preclude you from making a play on Higgins. Getting Higgins, Samuel and maybe drafting a guy R2 would really set them up nicely.

Our picks are high in each round and can really be thought of as a round higher when dreaming up these trades. Our 4th rounder is the 4th pick in that round (105), close to a 3rd. We have a high 5th rounder, no 6th, and the 1st-4th-22nd in the 7th. In the 3rd we have the 5th and the 13th, both high in the round (69 & 77 overall). The extra picks in the 7th can be the extra juice to get us a deal.

That's what I'm saying Vrabel ain't going Tits up in this Division... The Best Team in the NFL just won the SB and they're not in the AFC. IF we have Success in FA and the Draft we are right back in it. The AFC is full of $h!t Teams: with the exceptions: Baltimore - Buffalo and maybe you know KC?? Really shaking in our boots here.

Let's not talk about our Fourth Please.

Deebo as a player he used to be two years ago for a 4th would be fair enough. Unfortunately now he is not the same player.

I dunno....4th rounders turn into starters ~10% of the time. If the money is right a 4th make sense to me.
I guess if we are splitting hairs, I'd want some help on the salary if I am giving up a 4th.

The Deebo's worth a Fourth Rounder people are coming out the woodworks.

Nice way to spin to it if the 49ers eat this years or next.
