Osborne also wants out

I don't know, every street free agent they've brought in to plug holes on the offensive line with all the injuries have been better than the players they replaced.
LMAO...I laugh so I dont cry

Pats should’ve re-signed Mack Truck Wilson instead of McMillan’s wife.
In retrospect, it does seem like letting your fastest LB and one of the better tacklers on the team walk for nothing, and bring in a guy (Takitaki) who can't get on the field.

I don't really care how it affects Osborne and what would be deemed the "harshest" penalty. I care more about sending a message to the other 52 guys that keeping things in house is an order and there will be consequences.
I'm inclined to agree with this.
KJ Osborn isn't going to make or break the team either way, he's a non-factor. And not nearly good enough to pull diva **** and get away with it.

When asked today about Polk and Osborn's social media posts, he said he doesn't know anything about them and has not talked to either guy about the posts but he has an open door policy if they want to talk to him.
I think alot of what mayo says is word salad to the media.. he will play his games with the media his own way.

Polk should be benched... period. Baker can't sniff the field, Thornton is inactive every week despite beginning this season as a starter, Osborn was an outcast and the moment Polk gets pulled because he's so bad... Osborn steps in and catches a long TD pass.

This team is a joke, coaching, personnel, management... a joke. I wanted to be positive and give them a chance, but they are so in over their heads it's not funny.

Mayo needed this. He needs this adversity to become a tougher and better coach. He will learn like all coaches had to.
@Zuma I really believe this. I choose to believe this and not try to overload my brain like many are doing. Just embracing the adversity. Mayo if he intends in being a great coach will learn from this.

Some rookie coaches go through this and end up being a good coach, some never recover either because they suck or too many things were out of their control. You might be right…we’ll see.

He's got the QB. Let's get through the season watching Drake grow. I'm fully confident the team adds pieces around him to reach his full potential. I'm not going to call for Mayo to step down I want him to coach his way out of it.

Bourne wants to leave.

But they do now have “checks and balances” and people are patting The Scatback and The Nebbish on the back for identifying the next great HC 5 years ago.
And with good reason…

Valuable football coaching skills.

Seems like RKK reacted to what he saw as lacking in BB by choosing a successor strong in those skills.

"What especially got my attention was how he organized some meetings, a dialogue. ... It was with veterans and current Patriots. He had been out of the organization, but that showed me a skill of being able to get along," Kraft said.

"A bell went off, and I said, 'That's my next head coach.'"
Is there a new Patriot Way? Why coach Jerod Mayo was hand-picked by Robert Kraft

Here's what I believe... over the years RK "tolerated" alot of things becuase we won. He entrusted bill to run his organization and for the better part of 19 season bill was masterful. When Brady left and the QB position became a dud and the losing culture was created it bothered him. So here we are.. we are a losing culture, with a good and ascending young QB..
Haha… leadership program. Those should have been done 10 years ago. He HAD the greatest leader to learn from. It’s Opposite Day down at One Patriot place for the next 5 years at least. Rome is burning!!
Yes, it’s RKK fixing the things that annoyed him with BB but he put up with them because the team was winning.

Problem is, the fixes aren’t going to win football games.

It won’t be 5 years though, it will be until the team is sold. As long as Robert is in the picture it will be as it is now. Once Jonathan is completely running things it will be run by MBA corporate committee culture, without any football heart or soul or vision.

No Basis for that comment. Cmon. It's about players being their own business entity, and they know with each injury on the o-line, their season's pass catching stats are going to be a bust in terms dollars on their next contract. It's nothing to do with Mayo, it's business.
Osborn can read the ledger for his own business entity, and he sees it's trending down.

He is on pace to do less than half his average for the last three years, he’d been told he would be inactive for the game in London, and then was active because some rookie that was going to play in front of him got sick.

It’s time to sell that business to a better parent.

Mayo went through an extensive leadership program at Optum, which according to Kraft, set him up to succeed at the executive level in the NFL.....so the Patriots have that going for them, which is nice.
Too bad it did not set him up to succeed on the sidelines in the NFL.

No doubt it taught him to be a good corporate team player in the boardroom and in front of the microphone. Gave him the polish BB lacked, and salved RKK’s discomfort with that. I wonder how much Jonathan had a hand in it?

Recipe for success.
