With Gronkowski being as limited as he is, it's surprising they have been suiting him up. To see such an important piece of this team limping coming out of his breaks is pretty scary. This guy is important and he needs to get his body right.

Anyone else have any thoughts or opinions?

It could take a while. Seems like he is a slow healer.

Has he not been in recuperation mode all of this time?

Pats need to take easy with Gronk. We don't need Gronk to be JJ Watt-ed

I have no idea where he is physically right now but he played a ton of snaps today so that can't be a bad thing in considering where he is.

Gronk played a bunch and blocked effectively today. I think he's fine - the issue is that with Brissett at QB nobody (except Bennett) apparently) can be expected to get a lot of receiving yards. Let's see how he does with Brady before we start proposing a change of course.

Does he need more than 2 Inactive games and 2 semi-participant games? Plus all the Pre-season?

I think he is ready to go for awhile. Almost 100%, but the Staff didn't want to show all of their cards with Grop or Brisset, whom may not have the capability to make the 2 TE set work the way Brady can.

Football player play football...time for him to play football

He'll have over 100 yards next week.

Tomorrow marks 7 weeks since he first pulled up lame with this injury. That's a long time. And, no, I don't know what that means. I just know that's a long time.

to be fair, since garoppolo went out no one except Bennett has had good receiving numbers. edelman, hogan, amendola all had nothing today.

hell be fine with brady

we are this close to being 1-3

arizona - missed FG at the end

Miami - almost came back after JG injury

Buffalo - shutout

Belichick opts for the FG instead of going for it..

Sure, I guess, but it's that's the nature of the NFL. If you take every 6 point game as "they were thisclose to losing", then you'll get the same result with most teams.

All that matters in this particular case is that we're not 1-3. We're 3-1, and now the GOAT QB is back. Weeks 1-4 were the rest of the division/conference's chance to put some distance on the Brady-led Pats, and after week 4 we're the #2 seed in the AFC and and one game out of the top seed.

Where did all of you get your MD's from?
