I live in Canada and do some work in North Dakota (oilfield). I sport my Patriots gear every now and then and I can assure you that people in North Dakota do not like the patriots. And like another poster said, Wentz is a NDSU guy so people worship him down there.

How would North Dakota people would have know who the Patriots are? or even what Football is? Do they even have TVs?

Why are we surprised? Recall when the Patriots had the chance to go 19 - 0 in SB42, and shut up the Dolphins who always crowed about being the only undefeated team in history popping their champagne when the least undefeated team during the season lost, no one cared for history, the vast majority of the country wanted the Pats to lose then. Makes no difference now.

Even though this country celebrates success, the run of success this franchise is enjoying is hated across the country. Similar sentiments occurred when the 49'ers, Cowboys and Steelers had their runs. Now it is the Patriots' turn. True, there are Patriots fans across the country, but, they are outnumbered by the haters.

The Saints fans on here have our backs. Outside of that, they're just as salty about NE as the rest of the nation. Want proof? Listen to them talk about the Pats on Sirius NFL radio sometime. Screw them and their putz of a head coach. You see that Ferret doing the Skol clap on the sidelines a couple of weeks ago and mocking Vikings fans just before he took a big time L?

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that these poll results are not "fake news" (now, there's a real cerebral term, but I digress.). The vast majority of people who travel outside of NE will tell you that the Patriots are despised. If there's a slim minority that claims otherwise, they're either kidding themselves or lying. Me? I've grown to like and prefer it that way. They can all f### off.
