So, if you could choose one thing to happen in tonights Patriots - Bucs game that would encourage you the most about this upcoming season, which would it be?

Personally, I'm going with Mayo and Crable. I have no doubts about our DL, so if we can get great production out of the LB corp, I think the defense could be epic.

What does everyone else think?

Some solid play from Wheatley and Meriweather. They are our secondary's future.

since I don't think we have to wish for at least Mayo to look the part of a stud linebacker (knock on wood)...ill rub my lamp for Chad Jackson

stupidist poll yet.

Of course the only answer is "no injuries"

You're being stupid. "No injuries" is a given. I mean, seriously, is there Patriots fan going "Man, I don't want any injuries tonight, but EVEN MORE I want Chad Jackson to have a good game. If that means Logan Mankins gets hurt, so be it!" Of course not.

The OP is right for not including "No Injuries" in the poll.

No significant injuries.

My wish is for 4 college cheerleaders to knock on my door and offer to help me enjoy the game accompanied by an Italian grandmother to cook a late supper.

My god, most of you are boring.

I thought about putting no injuries on there, but for god's sake, I'm trying to think between the lines here.

Let me rephrase... ASSUMING THERE ARE NO INJURIES, yadda yadda yadda same question

The two greatest things in the history of man. I'm more inclined to put THIS on the poll than "no injuries"

Glimpses of the old Seymour ... if he plays of course. If Seymour can get back
to form that is the best D-Line in the league IMO and all the defensive creativity flows from that.

Other. No injuries.

edit: I see belatedly that that's already been covered. So (assuming no injuries), what I really want to see is the whole team play well - as a team.

Between Cassel and Gut, I want to see one step up and the other to step back....its too close to call for most of us now. I want to have confidence in my backup QB whoever it is.

My wish is that Cassel misses the flight home and stays in Tampa.

I almost got my wish - I was only off by one word, because what we got to see was the whole team play horribly, as a team.

This was a truly pathetic, unwatchable performance - on the heels of last weeks which now looks better by comparison.

I think I got my wish ... Seymour was occupying double teams and his pursuit looked like the Seymour of old ... if he can stay healthy that will be huge.
