I also think the 37 different offensive line combinations, injuries to Gronk, Hightower, solder, Vollmer, Collins illness,Edelman and Dion Lewis were why they didn't get the 1 seed
you're not wrong. i think basically every bad force in the universe had to align for a team that good in the situation they were in to not end up with the 1 seed. but it happened.

still, i'd be surprised if anyone here doubts that had the coaching staff and players had an aggressive winning mentality, we would've had the 1 seed

Yea they were being too conservative down the stretch, I mean at the time I was ok with it because that was a time when our guys were dropping like flies every week

I agree. I never would have imagined that they would lose 4 out of last 6 games. Even with the struggling defense, I feel much better about the team this year compared to last. They were pulling offensive lineman off the street to play last year and were dealing with too many injuries.

Only players to miss practice on Friday were Cyrus Jones and Matthew Slater. Brady, Bennett, Edelman, Hogan and Gronkowski were limited.

Either aggravation or new injury with Brady.

I don't believe a word of what she says. Other day she was the only one reporting that Gronk was definitely out and the Patriots staff was preparing like he wouldn't be part of the game plan.

Never mind her. Missed 2 practices.

He still needs to be active .. and I don't only mean on 46 .. for the last sentence to hold some water.

This is the biggest possible upgrade for this D going forward if Sheard can show up .. and they could certainly use it.

if gronk traveled he most likely play..

great news, even if he's limited to 20-30 plays

He was inactive not due to injury. Wouldn't have taken him unless he is past that situation. I expect him to play.

Chris Hogan also made the trip to New Yawk.

And the sun rises in the East.....water is wet....ice is cold...yadda, yadda, yadda...
