On to Miami!

You guys forget! Adolph Hitler lives in Miami.

Brown won't be there... one game gone for sure. Besides the lawsuit is coming from Miami.

That game with or without AB is gonna be a Texans chainsaw massacre.

Just Win Baby ! When the schedule came out ,,I was worried playing them in Miami so early with that heat.
Now I have never been confident ever of getting the W in Miami.
Let's Gooo

Upper level starting around $100 per ticket, lower level (but not between the 20s) at around $200, with several people claiming they are priced at face value. This is on craigslist, but stubhub isn't much higher. If you get in a lower level ticket in the end zone, I bet the crowd will be sparse enough to move to midfield by halftime. It may be harder to move between levels.
Prices looks ok...

I’m honestly wondering if Brown even plays this week. Miami has given us problems in Miami in the past, and they’re a division rival, but this team is putrid garbage. We should be able to get the W without Brown and give him another week to digest the playbook and work with Brady.

I don't think Brown will play. The risk of him making a wrong turn on a route that results in a Brady pick is too high w/o more practice.
The only way they'd play him would be as a decoy to attract a double team. That said, should he suddenly get wide open, Brady would toss the TD to him. My guess is he does NOT take a spot on the game active roster.

This is where we find out if the unstoppable force (Miami's capacity to suck) wins over the immovable object (the inevitable weirdness that is playing in Miami).

How quickly did Mike Floyd play ? Or Josh Gordon ?

Brown will get a vertical slice of the offense (i.e. specific part of the playbook) and play limited snaps. Hell, giving him a couple crossing routes and some go routes would already be enough to create space all over the field.

I remember an old comedy special by Steve Martin that had a bit about him telling you how to become a millionaire.
Well here's your chance wager a $100 dollars on the updated from 500-1 odds to 10,000-1 odds that Miami wins the SB.

Yes, and that's only for two months of the year. During the other ten, road closings for snow removal can at least double that. There are people who only recently got home who have been trying since February.

Game day can't get here fast enough! I hope the Pats can keep their form and momentum going in the sweltering heat and after this tumultuous week. If anyone can do it, they can. Go Patriots!

I was referring to the poster criticizing me for saying Sugarloaf mountain was not " northern Maine"

Looking at the Dolphins' personnel.... @BobDigital was right earlier in this thread....it's downright bad! Not as bad as I thought:

Here's their OL ranking (dead last as of July with Tunsil): PFF ranks the Miami Dolphins 2019 offensive line dead last

Their QB is Fitzy who hopefully will never complete his AFC East tour.

Skill players? Ballage/Drake are decent...but behind that OL...no chance. WR's? Davante Parker, Preston Williams, Jakeem Grant, and Albert Wilson.....doesn't inspire much fear although I hear that Parker had a good camp and impressed the new regime. Preston Williams showing promise...and I like Grant's game myself... Then there's Geisicki at TE who did nothing last year....hmmm...

On defense: I don't recognize any names other than Wilkins on the DL (high draft pick), Howard (their best CB), Rowe (their #2!), and Reshad Jones/Bobby McCain at safety. I think Minkah Fitzpatrick is supposed to play one position this year...but got burned in week 1 by a rookie....I think he was benched...not sure...could have just been a blow out benching.

The more I think about this game...the more I like the Pats' chances...even without AB.
