I agree, if they play mistake free they can beat the Bills. Their defense isn’t great.
If BUF plays mistake free, they will likely beat us by 3 touchdowns.

you have a bad habit of lying about what other people have said.
other posters have also pointed this out
please stop it
thank you
The search engine is an unfortunate thing for you…

Our defense is ranked 9th in points allowed, they’re ranked 23rd…

But I’m sure you have some solid reasoning beyond “woe is us we’re the Patriots” and oh yeah, “Josh Allen has magic powers.”

I am among the most homerish posters.

However, I try not to greatly exaggerate how good the team is.

You can choose to believe that we are almost as good as the team favored to be in Super Bowl by those not called patriot fans.

The Bills defense has cracks, their entire team rides on Josh Allen's shoulders. IMO the jury's out on how "powerful" Beefalo is vs. last year's edition. I don't expect the Patriots to win this round with them but if New England plays turnover-free it WILL be a contest.

???
So, you think that we are NOW able to perform as well as the team that is the favorite to win the Super Bowl?

What a difference after a game against one the very worst in the NFL!
===========
We have played PIT and three truly awful teams.

Perhaps, we would have the same stats against four average team, or perhaps not.
==========
I DO AGREE that we have a good chance at the playoffs. However, the best road to the playoffs is to win 6 games out of the 8 against weak teams.

I didn’t say that, I said if the Pats play mistake free they might be better. We’ll see if the mistakes are behind them.

The Bills have been favored to win the Super Bowl for the last what… 5 or 6 seasons. That is an indicator of nothing.

Pay the coaches and keep them . Doug marrone and Josh and springer .
And it’s not like the personnel is dramatically better. There are some better players like Campbell and of course Drake Maye’s progression. But the coaching is playing a positive role, without question.

yes, a very well known Wozzy post.
take a conversation about OL play (Wynn) and because you were proven wrong repeatedly, change the subject completely (to Brady's weight).
and for context, the picture showed Brady in China with his son, in the off season. Brady with his shirt off, was jacked in the upper body, at 6 foot 5 inches. clearly bigger in the upper body, with me thinking he was 20-30 pounds bigger than his listed weight. (that particular offseason)

so you were wrong about Wynn in the conversation.
you already said yourself no one can know a players weight for sure (Onwenu over or under 350 lbs).
I speculated on Bradys weight that offseason. you use the speculation to divert from being wrong about Wynn.
typical. on other forums also known as "Wozzied"

all that is missing here is you posting a meme, cementing the fact that you are wrong. again.

You said I was lying.

I provided the quote from you saying you said Tom Brady looked 250-260 pounds.

Now you’ve created a long word salad post above ^ to distract everybody from the fact I was telling the truth.

Dancing around and obfuscating doesn’t change anything. I don’t lie.

And you and your media buddies eyeball test for weight is worthless.

The personnel is dramatically better than last year. Okorafor, Leverett, Jordan were terribly free agent signings, Wallace and Robinson were sever draft reaches.

Better coaching and better talent.

the discussion was about Onwenu and his weight. you 180 degrees contradicted yourself in the very same post. I called you on it.
you reference a comment I made about Brady, 9 years ago, on another football forum.
you take the discussion about Onwenu and change it to Brady from 9 years ago. pretty common for you.
just admit you are wrong about Onwenu rather than going ack 9 years to anther forum
pretty simple

I contradicted myself? Are you just making up imaginary scenarios in your head now.

I said your media buddies were full of crap, they can’t determine weight with a glance…. you rushed to defend them like you always do.

I reminded you that you once added forty pounds to Tom Brady after viewing a photo of him. You said I “lied,” then I provided the quote directly from you stating this.

Now you’re dancing…

God you two really don't like one another. Lets hug and make up.

Say something true and I’ll agree. Say something untrue and I’ll disagree.

“Like” doesn’t play into it at all. “Who” doesn’t play into it at all.

There’s two types of people here. Those who you can disagree with and have a rational discussion. Others you disagree with, they think it’s a personal vendetta and follow you around for years disagreeing with anything you say.. no matter how correct. These people have control issues and hate being challenged or confronted with the truth and proven wrong.

is it rational to be discussing Onwenu and his weight/readiness, and the other poster drag up a comment made 9 years ago on another forum, regarding a different player, different set of circumstances? perusing this forum today, that very same poster does such mostly every time he is challenged or proven wrong, which is almost every thread he participates in.

I actually like Wozzwald's posts on football. we agree to disagree often. that said, I still read what he says. like or dislike is not part of my posts. I usually respond to any post with out seeing who the other poster even is. Wozzwald's posts however are quite distinctive.
I also notice he doesn't play favorites. most posters here point out that he is wrong, and he does the same to everyone. so no offense taken by me

last few years of Bill post Scar plus last year were a complete and utter disaster

When a top 5 QB "holds the ball too long" the receivers get away from coverage, save the QB and great plays happen.
This is the part of Qb play that people just seem to not understand or dint want to understand.
QBs don’t “hold the ball too long”. There is no reason to. What happens is they are forced to hold the ball because no one is open.

The decision making process of very simple. In the design of the play the QB is given a primary target, secondary, third, forth, fifth (if 5 go out).
He is also given a timing, or spot for that primary receiver.
If he is open you throw it. No decision of whether you want to throw somewhere else or wait for another receiver, survey the field etc.
On time, open, throw. Every single time.
If he is not open repeat with target 2, and so on.
When none are open, you scan the field, or scramble.

What separates QBs is that decision of what OPEN means.
And even more so, what it means in different routes.

Some plays run progressions short to deep and others deep to short.
What you are describing is a QB whose definition of OPEN is more aggressive for deeper throws and less aggressive for short throws.

On a short to deep read, if you force the short pass to a guy who is sort of open, you aren’t going to get many deeper throws. But if you consider open on a short route to mean clear with room to run after the catch, and pass up the 3 yard curl with a lb ready to tackle, you allow the deep routes to open.
Same idea with deep to short reads. If you throw back shoulders, if you throw because a guy isn’t open but the defender is trailing and can’t see the ball, you are creating bigger plays instead of checking down.
Every qb throws to the first progression is he is open, on time. Every qb throws to the second if the first isn’t in and the second is, etc etc.
Every qb defines open differently.

This is why I’m not a WCO fan. Must versions are mostly short to deep reads and you lose big plays but taking the short stuff too readily.

Mac Jones biggest weakness was that he passed up open receivers in the intermediate and seam areas to check down because he had no confidence in his arm. Defenses figured this out in the second half of 2021.
In 2022 he tried to reverse that and take advantage of defenses taking away the short stuff and showed us all why he was right to not have confidence in his arm.
Since then he’s been a guy who can throw the ball if you scheme a guy wide open, but is a schizophrenic mess if you don’t.
