Does it though? It's a 2 month recovery, he'll be back in time for training camp?

I think people are just assuming he's going to freefall down the board over an 8 week injury. This isn't like 'he needs microfracture surgery on his knee'.

I doubt he will freefall, but concerns that foot surgery could be a sign of problems to come is certainly reasonable.

I don't remember people saying Okorafor was good, I was AGAINST a guy that was a RT that was BENCHED for a rookie coming in as our LT.
He was pissed as it was as a benched RT, WHO THINKS it's a good idea to bring him in as our starting LT?
NOONE but Wolf.

Please Advise.

Thanks

So what were your suggestions for tackle at the time?

If it's a 6th/7th pick swap? You'd be crazy not to.

If it's pick 77 like people seem to want to give out like Halloween candy, then definitely not.
Okay well if thats the price then sure. But it won't be. It will be a 3rd. Maybe a 4th.

There were all sorts of people saying Okorafor was a good signing because he played a lot. Also saying he only got benched because he argued with a coach. Once I pointed out how he wasn’t a good athlete and the Steelers had one of the worst lines in the AFC it always reverted back to “well he’s cheap” as if that was reason to sign a bad player. This rinse and repeated with Leverett and Jordan conversations. Now it’s happening again with some of these 2025 free agent linemen who played some for their previous team.

There is no good time to sign a bad player, there’s no justification. Not when you can give an opportunity to someone else, not when you can bring in an UDFA with some tools or a lesser known free agent who came from a great line and maybe didn’t get an opportunity to start. Considering this was Vrabel’s career arc as a player maybe we’ll get good at finding value vet free agents again.

I remember vividly Wozzy you were spot on!

Stanley and Mekari would be a great free agency on offense. If they love Hunter as WR, they can address WR in the draft.

Why not both?

If reports are true that we are not in the mix for Higgins anymore ( I don't buy it, and even if we were still), we have 140M in cap space! Thats 3 franchise Qbs!

In other perspective, I'd pick up everyone the Ravens got rid of. They have consisently produced good talent that they can't keep

River running into the sea.

KB 2nd and one of the 3rds.

Keep seeing reports Patriots will pursue Eagles Milton Williams aggressively.

We'll be glad to take those particular SB winning dregs off their hands I'm sure.
