Big difference when the ball gets out there that fast and the guy can make the play. Great job by the rookie considering what a mess it was. Handled it all really well.
I get the complaints about the OL, but gotta remember it’s not the starting C, or even the originally planned backup C (which would’ve been Jake Andrews) which is where most of the problems are stemming from. They’re also still adjusting to new spots with Onwenu back at tackle and Robinson promoted to the top group.
The problem has not been Maye having an issue fielding shotgun snaps off the turf. That would be a center issue. There has been issues with the exchange under center like what happened a few plays later, which did illustrate your point.
