Game Day Thread Official Pregame Thread- Pats @ Jets

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Season is over if they drop this one. Miami loss at home a killer.
Over may be a bit of a stretch, but if we can't beat this Jets team and drop our first two division games, we're in trouble.

We have two playoff teams up next that are, basically two of the best teams in the NFC. This isn't really a loss we can absorb with the prospect of 1-3 or 0-4 if we drop this one.

I don't think HT was on an injury report but to my eyes he was not moving well Sunday either. Could be an opportunity for Uche and others.

He wasn't on the field for the Dolphins last possession, from what I've heard (haven't rewatched).

That's what I heard too... But he was indeed on the field for the first 3 snaps of that drive...until he pulled-up lame during the 2nd/1 dive up the middle for a 1st down with 2:35 remaining in the game... Terrific...

My provider is not showing the Pats game live , so its back to Game Pass

UK gets.......

SF 49 v Eagles
Cowboys v Charges
Chiefs v Ravens

RE: Zach Wilson.

See what I am saying? He has a good arm, but he's a long way from BYU and a Div 2 schedule. This Covid world of ours has everything upside down. He locks into his 1st read and then airmails it.

In a regular world, analysts would see this with Wilson. Instead, he's the second coming.

3 of 8 sportsbooks are now at -6, I'm guessing it will get to 7 1/2 by game time.
I never trust point spreads in the beginning of an NFL season.

The Jets defense is better than any defense Jones faced in college. The players are still professionals with the speed, smarts and strength to earn an NFL roster spot. Beating the Patriots in the home opener would go a long way towards the Jets turning the corner.

I think bettors have generally been pleased how BB has handled rookie QBs over the years.

2 rookie QB's playing...Who knows WTF will happen as far as points.......Throw the point spreads out the window,,,,,,

Just hope the Pats don't shoot themselves in the foot again with fumbles and penalties. They should have easily beat Miami last week.....

BB cleans up the miscues and Mac rolls......Pats win with relative ease......
