The Jets win today has nothing to do with Wilson. In fact, it was despite Wilson. Three of their field goals came on drives of 8 yards, 16 yards, and 34 yards. And their TD was one play for 8 yards (a running play). It was all the Jets' defense today.

How soon we all forget the unforced interception Mac had over throwing a wide open Henry while driving.

I didn't forget that. That didn't cost us the game. Also why did that INT even happen? The QB was running for his life.

You can keep the INT and the 2 or 3 mediocre passes Mac threw.

If the receivers can keep a couple of the balls they should have got, the offensive line doesn't let up constantly and get penalties all day, and the defense doesn't get burned by Hoyer... Pats win. Pats win easily.

Problems go beyond the couple of bad plays Mac made

at 1-5 the season feels like its officially out of reach. If JimmyG is done for the year, it would be interesting to see if the raiders would give up a #1 for Mac.

I don't understand why people keep turning this into an "either or" exercise. They all can be bad.

It's fairly obvious the OL and offense as a whole is lacking talent. We don't have to pretend the OL is passable.

If the QB is the total reason the OL collapses instantly then Malik Cunningham should've lit it up. Or zappe in his relief stints.

Malik is an undrafted FA who hasn't run the offense at all even in practice. He was there for gadget plays

Zappe we know what he is. He doesn't have the arm (though he can certainly stand in the pocket and show poise 100% better than Mac)

They are, but the draft should be deep at the positions that they need, and they also have copious cap space available. That situation can be flipped quickly with a skilled approach. I don't have a lot of confidence Bill is the guy to do it at this stage.

You can't start from absolutely nothing on Offense and have the situation "flipped quickly" unless one gets very lucky at QB.

OK, we're starting over. Some money needs to replace or re-sign Dugger, Uche and Jenning.

Better defense. Better special teams Better running backs. Their top WR's are better. The only question marks are the offensive line and QB. Which we suck at too. They are probably a playoff team with Rodgers.

I never said that. I said all 3 were under immense pressure and folded under this OL.

You are the only one making the argument that Mac makes the OL look bad

When it's obvious they are horrid. And that's not a defense of Mac
