???

Seriously?

This thread is only for rah-rah comments today>?

Who was talking to you?

Agreed. I've said this before on peppers. He had the ACL and took time for him to get 100%.. he was a former 1st round pick for the Browns. The guys a Rodney Harrison type presence we hadn't had since.. well Rodney... he's clearly the best safety we have. Barmore definitely has stepped his game up. He's playing like the guy we saw flashes of his rookie season. I hope we can get Keon white back becuase That will free up Barmore for more one on one opportunity. Peppers should be part of the future of this team going forward he's still young and has a motor for days. A game like this could really propel a team like this.
Pepper is looking better and better. Takes a good while to shake off "injury-scare" bug and at 28, he has enough experience to mold his instict in the NFL

I do wonder if he wants to be part of a rebuild given his history, I think he will chase the money in 2024. But who knows?

Kinda bugs me that Judon had to go down for Barmore to flip, but if he can keep it going, no complaints for me.

About propelling the team... I will wait for the next game. One game is a fluke, two is a trend

People here are weird.
It wasn't a single solitary post of his that I directed this at. But yeah. Being the kind of fan whose first reactions to a divisional win, including a game winning drive, are "Yes, but" is weird. Agreed.

Very happy for Mac. Saying this as a guy who's been posting the "Mac's only had 1 GW/4thQ comeback" since the early part of the 2022 season. Still pissed off that Parker was out there. Like I (and many others) have said, I wanna see, DD, TT, Bourne, Boutte, and Reagor out there for the speed - to at least open things up inside for the TEs. OL was a breath of fresh air (relatively speaking). Not really a D guy, so can't speak to that except not sure why people want to get rid of JC Jackson.

Don't play stupid. I know you aren't.

"He was good today BUT..." how about just he was good today. The end. The game just ended. You can save the qualifiers for tomorrow or for the 2-6 slot on 98.5

This is what I said. The team was there. Mac sucked. Today Mac was good. Not difficult.

I will rephrase. Previously the team was good but Mac sucked. Today Mac was good. Not difficult to understand that difference. There are no "BUTS". Previsouly Mac sucked - that is true. Today Mac was good - that is true.

You have a hair across your ass.

You hanging out with Ashley today?

I keed I keed

Hope Josh Allen is ok after 180 pound Jack Jones lightly pushed him. Might be out a few weeks or at least you’d think so the way he reacted from that devastating hit.

I thought it was a little late.

Btw, what's a HC doing publicly criticizing the refs?

Dude, he liked my post and was calling you weird. I did not say any BUTS. Get over it.

1. This is the team I expected to see going into the season. It's honestly the team that's been here all along when the QB isn't actively sabotaging the game. He checked that box in the first half. In the second half he checked an even bigger box: being a big reason they won late, which I think is the first time he's done that in his career.

2. It helps when the QB's most talented playmaker by leaps-and-bounds isn't riding the pine in favor of overpaid vets. Douglas belongs on the field for every offensive snap.

3. For 3 years it's been baffling to a ton of people following the team, in the media and on this forum, that the team didn't like Onwenu at RT. Seems to me an adequate G next to a good T is way better than a "top 5" G next to a turnstile T. Let's hope today's change sticks.

4. Next week's game is officially interesting. At 3-5 fresh off beating the Bills and Dolphins we can still dream, at 2-6 we'll wish we hadn't won 2 games. Just pivotal and I wish we had Judon and Gonzo for it.

Today showed the biggest issue with the offense up until this point was not Mac Jones, not the receivers, and not the play calling. It was the offensive line. The move of Owenu to RT changed the offense on a dime.

The offense was far from perfect, but it was even farther from what it was the last three or four weeks.

Also, part of the reason I still question Belichick is that he finally did things fans have been crying for for weeks like moving Owenu to RT and playing Pop Douglas more. Also ironic that some of the biggest play makers on this offense today are a late round pick, a player that was in the doghouse all last year, and a player signed to the practice squad in August after the Colts cut him over his second round pick, player he just extended, and his biggest free agent move this past season.
I know we like to think that these athletes are invincible and that it’s common to play full seasons without injuries. The injuries are pilling up, who knows what truly does and doesn’t get reported. Obviously this oline has been offensive. I also believe all these o line changes aren’t just for shiz n giggles… but maybe , just maybe this could be the start

On offense, once more I will start a trend

Pharaoh Brown is a good, good find. Very Gronk-esque as a receiver, uses his length really well, seems clutch so far... If only NFL games would show replays more often instead of a State Farm commercial for the bazillionth time I could look at how he blocks, but it feels efficient.

Plus his name is really cool.

Dude I was flipping it on him. And you know what? I went back in the thread and I overestimated the amount of "Yeah buts" I read from you. So I WAS going to apologize. But now? No way Jose. No apology from me. Hope that eats at you all day

Previously the team was not good. What're you talking about? The 1-5 team coming into today was good and was just a victim of Mac Jones at QB?
