Mac has options. He seems to be locking onto his first one or dumping it off to his last one (or just running it like in this game).
Not always. Just on a few occasions. The INT that he threw into what ended up being triple coverage was a predetermined throw. He was going to Parker no matter what happened.

Sean Payton is out there but I seriously doubt BB ever gets fired. He probably gets to leave on his own terms.

Bill needs someone else to pick the groceries...the most successful teams in the past few years have separate HCs and GMs. It allows GMs to manage and HCs to coach. Bill is too stretched.

September 24 2022. Disipline. The message is not sticking anymore. These multi million dollar athletes should be preforming better.

Um, Brady looked just fine in 2016 and 2017 with a bunch of smurfs....he's just can't carry an offense any more. his receivers have to carry him.
Those receiving corps, from top to bottom in 2016 and 2017, were night and day better than what he was throwing to today. And he still didn’t throw an INT. There’s still time to delete this.

Looking at it big-picture… they’re 1-2. In the AFC, only Miami is 3-0, five teams are 2-1 and the rest are worse.

If we think positive and guess Mac misses 7 weeks, that means he misses @GB, DET, @CLE, CHI (prime time), @NYJ, IND. Then, it’s their bye week.

Realistically, how many of these games strike you as matchups where they’d win with Mac but lose with Hoyer? They’ll probably lose to Green Bay regardless of who is at QB. The other 5 strike me as probable wins even if Hoyer is playing. Mac would be preferable of course but Hoyer can probably do it. Plus, this gives them time to work out more kinks in their OL and game planning over time while Mac heals and studies up.

It’s not ideal but at least they’re going to be playing mostly winnable games. Then they would get Mac back for the Bills matchups, etc. If Hoyer can manage 4-2 during that 6 game slate and Mac returns to a 5-3 squad then maybe he can still make a run.

At his salary ($20m+ per yr) the only way he leaves on his terms is if he wins. The Krafts aren't gonna pay him $100m over the next 4 to 5 years for mediocracy. They can pay someone a 1/4 of that for mediocracy.

not sure why others can't see this. Watch any other QB in this league and Mac's arm strength is noticeably weaker.
Agree. Even the end zone pass that was batted away from Parker hung too long . The arm strength is seriously missing .

So the 20 years of dominance when Bill coached and picked the groceries was due to what?

What has changed in the last 3 years that made Bill in charge of everything an issue?

Still time to delete this one too.

Seriously? What have we seen from the Pats to think they are just gonna roll into those games and win them?

Admire the optimism. Getting him back for the jets after the bye would be ideal. Still dont know if hoyer can be serviceable or if he’ll be like the 2020 game in kc. But if he can be average, The defense has some good matchups in that stretch and the running game has looked good.

I mean I watched the game today. They were competitive with a good Baltimore squad. Without shooting themselves in the foot it would’ve been a different game. I think many of these games against worse opponents can be wins even with worse QB play. Plus, Thornton will be back.

We are staring at the end.

Once BB is out the Patriots will slowly unravel into a circus.

We are 1 - 2, and may be without our starting QB for a while. We've had offensive struggles this year and may be turning the ball over to Brian Hoyer. Yes, BRIAN HOYER. Doesn't really strike confidence that we are gonna start a nice win streak after the GB game.

How long is Bill signed on for? That will help determine what the Kraft's are thinking.

That's...that's his first one.

We know what Bob is thinking. He wants to win a playoff game this year.

That seems increasingly unlikely.

So they fire him if he doesn't win a playoff game this year?

Safe to say Bill blew it by drafting Michel instead of Lamar Jackson in 2018...
