“According to @PFF, Nate Solder didn't allow a single pressure on 40 pass-blocking snaps. Second clean sheet for him since the bye (Week 11 vs. Raiders).”

Listening to ESPN right now, oh my, they are saying the Steelers are always shorthanded when facing the Patriots, and if they get Antonio Brown back, it will be the first time they face the Patriots at full strength in the last 5 games. But they said it as though the Patriots are never shorthanded.

Uh, did Gronkowski play last January against the Steelers?

guess they forgot to mention that we have been missing one our most dependable and clutch receivers since the pre-season. D'OH

I thought the squealers actually looked better without brown. Did they forget that we where missing some key guys in branch and Van Noy?

According to the media, we never have key guys out. I mean it was only Gronk who was absent for last season's AFCC, Edelman/Hogan/Van Noy/Branch/Hightower/Ebner/Cannon among others yesterday...

6 Starters and 2 primary Special Teams players in Ebner and King..

Pats had no business winning that game. Brown gets injured and a controversial call about the touchdown. Then there was Tomlin. The only person Brady was throwing to was Gronk yet they didn't seem to mix it up and try to stop Gronk.

Winners win and losers lose I guess.

Umm.. Did you watch the game because 3 of the 4 Steeler's TDs shouldn't have counted.

- First one, David DeCastro(#66) was 5 yards down field blocking on a pass play. This is the play that they picked the flag up. They shouldn't have.

- The Bryant TD should have been called back because Bryant was clearly committing OPI by stiff-arming Gilmore. Had that been Gronk, it would have been .

- The "controversial" call that over-turned the James TD was the CORRECT call per the rules..

Injuries happen. Pats lost Burkhead yesterday (though not sure how long).

Yeah, for some reason it seemed as though the secondary and defense in general weren’t doing their jobs too well, but like you said, they only allowed 7 points in the second half. I think there were a few plays like the Smith-Schuster one that made things appear a bit worse then they were.
Well..thats been the ammo of BB's defenses especially facing teams like this. Stop the big play , let them try a 100 3rd downs and at some point its going to not work for them. Play the percentages. Its frustrating to watch but its mind boggling how for all the 3rd down #s, steelers couldnt even manage a field goal drive other than the one after Brady's interception.

Has any team ever played that type of schedule before? Just curious
5 of 6 on the road has happened 3 other times since the 2002 realignment. It obviously can be avoided if schedule makers want.

Regards,
Chris

Will Steelers be penalized for beer bottle thrown at Brady after the game? Yea I know. Imagine if it happened at Gillette

Where did you hear about this??

Here's a play from a few seasons ago with a TD being overturned by not surviving the ground.

Foster non-TD

Where did you hear about this??
You could see it at the end of the game as the Pats were going into the tunnel. Considering the ****storm that took place in Jacksonville last week, you’d think this would have gotten more attention.
