Disappointed in LaCosse...not doing a very good job of blocking or catching. I was thinking that Kessler would be released once Watson is back...but now I'm fine if its LaCosse.

Shocker that the guy is just a guy

It will be very interesting to see how the Bills do against Philly.

Philly should blow them out, but that was true of the Patriots, too.

LaCosse and Izzo both suck and honestly so long as Watson is good that's totally fine
I wonder who would look better in skinny jeans, LaCosse or Izzo?

Most teams have very ****ty second tight ends, believe it or not, and the third guy sucks even more. Sometimes those ****ty guys make plays (see Trey Burton in the Super Bowl) but usually they suck a lot (see Trey Burton when lol he got asked to be a regular starter)

Your right...and its an embarrassment. I don't even see effort. And 1 catch with 4 targets ? At least Izzo caught the 2 that was thrown to him.

Targets without context means nothing.. At least one of the targets was poorly thrown by Brady and only a circus catch would have brought it in..

Izzo looked to be of JAG level talent today. He was adequate both in blocking and pass catching.

What's Watson's cap hit/savings if cut? Could his cap $ be needed to sign a player in trade?
I'm not sure that Watson is a serious upgrade to the kids at TE who admittedly aren't good players right now.
In the best of worlds Ben returns Monday by 4PM and gets a ring.

Following up on my earlier post about Buffalo, that team's next 3 opponents are:

Miami
Philly
Washington

So they should head into their game against the Browns (week 10/game 9) at 6-2.

They should but I don't trust that for sure. When your offense is that bad no game is a gimmie. The Bears lost to the Raiders today for instance. If you can't score you can't win.

The Bills margin of error is their offense making a big mistake that gives up 7 points and the other offense managing to not have any turnovers which hurt them. Not a big margin of error. Particularly when you have an offense likely to mess up.

This is the Best Patriots Defense I can remember in 25 years. You are not beating this Team via the pass. If passing is your mo you are in trouble.

$2m savings if hes wacked.

I thought that Jakob Johnson was nearly Devlin-esque in this game. When they actually called for him to block, he hit his man and took him out. He sprang Sony a few times.

I was surprised they had him going out for passes so much, in all honesty. I'd have thought they'd have kept him in more with the way that the Redskins were treating our O-line.

I was thinking this exact thing. If the pass bounces before getting to the guy it is a target.

It is next to meaningless unless you saw the plays. In a vacuum "targets" are useless information. (other than simply knowing how many times they throw to the guy. success percentage of the targets is meaningless without better data)

Agree....and uncatchable is not counted.
