THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

A must say replies are much less after a win than a loss. Always been that way.
You usually need to vent and rant more when you lose than when you win

Nice to read that. Very Brady like.

Yup, I said it.
He had to know that no sane coach would ever throw out 37 year old Chips Ahoyyy to start the game. Impressive preparation regardless

The Pats Defense is going to have their hands full with Nick Chubb, Amari Cooper, and Njoku. They'll need Jon Jones on Cooper, Dugger on Njoku and Phillips, Bentley, and Judon to be on their best game to handle Chubb.

The Pats Offensive line took Aiden Hutchinson out of the game. They will have to give a similar effort against Myles Garrett. The Browns have an excellent safety Johnson and a good corner in Denzel Ward. The Pats receivers aren't going to be going against a teams 3rd/4th stringers like they did against the Lions. The RB and TE will have to be wary of the Safety Blitz. Something that Johnson has tallied 2 QB hits already with.

Chargers ran for 240 yards today and Falcons ran for 200 yards last week against them

I prefer to celebrate than vent But that’s just me.
And sometimes I can vent with the best of them.

UNDEFEATED IN THE HOME REDS IN THE LAST DECADE!!!!!!

Actually, the last several decades

When was the last time we lost at home in reds? 1992?

Completed play action pass after a run brought back thoughts of the OT against the Packers. Still bitter, I guess. But great game. And I continue to appreciate Jacobi Meyers who was my binkie as an undrafted rookie.

Oh, and those uniforms rock!

i knew we won the last time we wore them, which was 2012... didn't bother to look up the rest

edit i looked it up

9-3 wearing throwbacks... 7-0 at home in the Reds, 1-0 at home in All Whites, 1-1 on the road in the Reds, and two losses in the wearing road whites, in '94 and '09

Checking in on the stock level on who should be fired/benched/cut?

Well, some takeaways:

Vilma is a good color man

Smith play was stupid - he made contact with Hunter and something went way wrong. Praying for him

Zappe didn't throw a pick, Nelson created one for him

Saw a phantom RTP here & a crucial one in Tampa - really bad, but, unlike with Ray Hamilton, both the Pats and Falcons guys did at least make contact with the QB (that's sarcasm, folks - but also factual)

Lions need to coach their D to tackle. Nevermind anything else.

Bill's first coaching job assisting Glanville in Detroit in '76. They kicked us around in the Dome. That highlight of the David Hill end zone dance after one of his TD's that day is the most replayed highlight in NFL Films history

Lions last scored this much in first four in 1954. Bobby Lane is one of several greats who threw more career picks than TD's, but he was a monster.

He left the game as one of the last players to play without a face mask and was credited with creating the two-minute drill. Teammate Doak Walker said of him, "Layne never lost a game...time just ran out on him."

We have to face the fact that the Jets are competitive.

Simply, Zappe doesn't panic, and Jones does. Can't ignore that.

Folk is money. Take care of this guy. We should hire a bodyguard.

One game at a time

9-2 wearing throwbacks... 8-0 at home in the Reds, 1-0 on the road in the Reds, and both losses were when wearing road whites, in '94 and '09
Guess we have to check this out, it's posted somewhere...but I remember we beat the Bears (Bruschi pick six) & Lions (Thanksgiving) on the road in reds

Dan Campbell is a tough guy. His team is not.

The start of this season comes down to two things.

1. Offensive management. If they had managed Mac the way they did Zapp it would have been a different story the first three games. They were way too aggressive early on.

2. Personnel. Now they play Bourne and Hunter Henry. They effed up big time sitting Bourne, forcing jonnu smith and lil Jordan. It doesn't take a genius to see these errors early in the season.
