The offense scored 3 points. We punted 7 times. Mac has to throw it away instead of taking another sack. We would have had one or more TD's if he threw the ball away 4 or more times.
Tough game, awesome finish courtesy of Marcus Jones.
Defense brought it again and we're going to need them to keep that up if we're going to pull out a few more wins and a playoff berth.
As for the offensive woes, plenty of blame to go around for everyone but Stevenson and Harris. Neither Mac, the OL, nor Patricia is doing enough to help out the other two. The passing game was obviously not as successful as Mac's statline would suggest when you factor in the sacks and the fact that the jets played some soft coverage on 3rd and very long situations following a sack/penalty. Still, I've been asking for some sign of a step forward from Mac and I'll take this game as just that. Obviously need a much bigger step soon from Mac, the OL, and Patricia (or some other playcaller) if we're going to get the ball in the endzone.

Those where some funs years as they had a lot to prove they weren't a fluke after their Super Bowl win in 2001.
For the most part, Tom had stability/continuity at OL from the time he started playing. They did have a few injuries here and there, but the offensive staff was a lot more creative scheming to hide their weaknesses on the OL. Now, if there's an injury or two, the offense can't operate.
Tom was also known as "processing info quickly" at the line and after the snap and would just take whatever the defense gave him.
The Jets' DL is >>> than our OL in its currently depleted state (or even if everyone was healthy). Very few QB's can cope with quick pressure up the middle like Mac saw on many plays, nor with first-and-20 like he often saw after the holds. The play-calling was conservative - but that is sensible given how well our defense was doing.
Haha haha... He only sets up fgs or the defense sets him up in the red zone.... The offense is what it is .. next week same thing.. multiple fgs in first half
