I feel this was another game where the Jets clearly knew what the Pats were running at times. On the sack where they ran a play action and the Jets rushed six, not one Jets player bit on the play action. I don't think it had anything to do with how Jones and the RB sold it. It was that the Jets knew it was a pass and just pinned their ears back.
There were a couple of run plays where the defenders were exactly where they needed to be to stop the play in the backfield.
Haha haha... He only sets up fgs or the defense sets him up in the red zone.... The offense is what it is .. next week same thing.. multiple fgs in first half
Hard to assess Patricia’s play calling when the quarterback, the most important and influential player on an offense, is painfully incompetent. You can’t shine a…
Funny how Patricia’s play calling was perfectly fine when Zappe got his two starts. Weird.
The fact that Jones averaged 14 yards a pass on first down and was 100% on his passes on that down and none of the passes were for first down is damning for the team about first down penalties. It has been a problem all year.
This. I'm critical of Mac, but people need to stop ignoring the holding penalties and inconsistent playcalling/play design. It's not helping.
I actually thought Mac wasn't bad today. Wasn't that good, took some bad sacks and probably should been able to do more given the field position, but it's not all on him. Some drops. No real bad pass I remember.
