It probably won’t happen, but imagine a scenario where Seattle beats Jets today, the Ravens beat Pittsburgh tonight, Jets/Dolphins gets flexed to Saturday, then the Jets beat the Dolphins. We’d get to rest our starters vs Buffalo lol.

Patriots are putrid because they drop the quarterback back to pass over a dozen times a game when they should DEFINITELY run the ball.

They should have won today 45-10.

They have no chance next week because they'll do what they've been doing all year.

They line up in short yardage situations, drop Mac back and before I can mutter "Why in the Hell are they passing?" under my breath he's swarmed under.

Even that stupid 4th & 4 at the end, one of the few ways to give the game away is with a strip sack. Running the ball reduces, okay eliminates the chance of that happening.

How many carries today? 18, not including Jones' 3 for 3 yards.

They haven't done it all year, but if they ran it at least 30 times a game they would win.

Instead, Tony Eason, I mean Mac Jones or whoever he is, racks up passing yards and a quarterback rating disguising all the sacks and drive-murdering incompletions that supposedly justify playing him and salve his fragile ego while we continue to stink.

No because the NFL will ensure KC, Cincinnati, & Buffalo play at the same time. Buffalo won't know anything in advance.

Buffalo could lose tomorrow and still get the 2 seed if Baltimore beats Cincinnati. And Buffalo beats NE.

Alot rides on tomorrow. If Buffalo beats Cincinnati, they still need to beat NE to maintain the one seed.

I can’t help wonder how the season may have gone but for the MP/JJ experiment.

My gut says better offense and 3 more wins but a similar outcome from last year with the D getting gashed by buff or KC.

BUT…gotta admit the D was good enough for a 10-11 win season.

I wouldn’t be so sure of that they will all play at the same time. There’s two Saturday games next week and they’re not going to put a meaningless game in those two slots.

I imagine Jaguars/Titans will be one, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Patriots/Bills is the other. Not that that would change anything in terms of the Bills playing their starters.

True, but the Chiefs and Bengals both have to lose, pretty unlikely IMO.
