Brady would have 600 TD’s if he kept throwing late in games and goal line TD’s like those two stat padders

No...hell no. And even less a Mic'd up Wilson the other night. The positively was so fake. This is what I'm talking about, you assume I don't like BB because I wanted TB to go a record. He's the man, I Just wish he would of gone for it though. That said a poster before did make a good point about injuries.

Tottie, I think it’s more a case of winning the war is more important than winning the battle.

I disagreed with BB even playing Edelman today.

2007 .... no one padded stats more than Brady

I get what you are saying but to me the x-factor will be whether the OL can elevate their play when it matters similar to how previous units could. If they can't get Brady to feel comfortable in the pocket the margin for error will be razor thin.

The O-line had some issues with Dunlap and the one twist with the late rusher. Beyond that, though, they actually played better than many are giving them credit for.

Brady had much longer times to throw this week, overall.

Look what the running game did.

30 carries for 177 yards. 5.9 YPC.. That's 1 YPC more than the Bengals had been giving up all season.

As someone else mentioned. It's baby steps. Getting the running game going will help the passing game open up.

What I really wish that McDaniels would do is the following:

- Some weak-side runs. They were there all game long.
- go with a Jumbo set with Newhouse, Watson, and LaCosse out there and use that to set up the play-fake.
- Go with the no huddle and some basic stuff. Help get Sanu, Meyers and Harry more involved in the game.
- Use Michel more than just a decoy. In fact. I'd love to see some 2 back sets with Michel and White there. Michel is actually pretty decent at picking up the pass rusher.
- Put a jumbo set out there on the goal-line of Watson, LaCosse, Harry, Sanu and White. Someone will be open..

LaCosse has heart...it's physical talent that he has little of.

If Sanu’s high ankle sprain is leading to this kind of performance, they really just have to sit him until he gets better. If rest doesn’t help this injury, then I don’t know what to say.

The Patriots beat buffalo by 6 in week 3. Buffalo turned it over FOUR TIMES. Frank Gore ran roughshod over the Patriots. That Pats team still had Josh Gordon. This Buffalo team is playing BETTER than THAT buffalo club from week 4.
I hope Buffalo turns it over like crazy again. But Allen and Buffalo have done a fantastic job taking care of the ball - only 3 turnovers last EIGHT games...

secret: Harry is better than Gordon was for us this year

He's lucky to still have a job. He should concern himself more where his people aim cameras than having a hot take at the ready.

Jackwagon

I listened to one of the PFW shows early this past week and it's too much of a coincidence he wasn't around...

It looked like after it was 27-10 he barely played. I only saw him for the onside recovery, maybe a few snaps on top of that?

Underrated prediction: The Dallas Cowboys will come out of January as NFC champions and head towards another Lombardi in Miami, where they face off against a worthy AFC opponent.

Dak Prescott becomes the second player since Bart Starr to hold a QBR rating of 104 and Jason Garrett retains his head coaching position with the Cowboys organization for another decade.

The big question for Saturday will be Mason's status and who replaces him in the starting line-up. I honestly don't think the Pats can survive having Ferentz at RG.

Yeah we gotta start writing these posts down so we can make fun of people after we win again.
Please do dig them up if we get past the Ravens or Chiefs in the playoffs.

Ok great

No. Josh was a bit of a disappointment but he actually had some good games. Cease the nonsense please. Harry has like 5 catches on the season.

It's great the pats can beat up on a 1-12 team but does not change the fact they still cannot beat a team that isn't a joke.

Would have had a chance to take down KC if it wasnt for the refs

I Suspect that Karras would be our RG, with Ferentz at C.

Very debatable as Harry offers nothing down the field and Gordon was a favored Brady target on third down...and it won't matter if buffalo has zero turnovers because the Patriots have demonstrated that this year's team cannot mount drives consistently and cannot string 3,4,5,6 firstts downs together.
Allen was terrible vs NE in wk 4...what's the common thread this season? Terrible QB play + Pat's defense usually results in multiple turnovers, field position and a couple of TDs for the offense, a def score and somehow they score 24-27 points VS AWFUL TEAMS AND AWFUL QBS. But play simply a mediocre qb - Wentz, Prescott, and we have a last possession score will win a game...play a good QB - Mahomes, Watson, Jackson and the defense sleepwalks for a half or a whole game and the Pats are down 14-0 quickly...so if Allen simply completes 55% and is 40% on third, and doesn't turn it over, we'll see another game like Philadelphia or Dallas...and hopefully Brady doesn't play play catch with buffalo DBs

Brady did not pad stats in 2007. He had 32 TD's in the 1st half of games and 18 in the 2nd half. Threw a total of 12 passes all year with 1 TD when leading and under 4 minutes to go. Despite popular belief the Patriots did not regularly run up the score on opponents that year. (with a couple exceptions) We all know that Brady could have more passing TD's if that has been a focus. Heck, if the refs had not stolen a TD last week on the Harry TD he would already be tied with Manning. Not an overly important record to have as all of the counting stats will be held by the newest QB's due to rule changes but still one I'd like him to get.

According to the GDT, Sony Michel is really good because he got 89 yards against a god awful run defense. Good grief.

Truer than the trolls here claiming he goes down on first contact. Great grief, but that's kind of what trolls do.

I remember the Eagles game where he passed it like 21 straight times. Passed it to the 1, and finally handed it off to the fullback for the touchdown. So many times he’s passed the team down the field and handed it off. In 2012 he had 34 touchdowns and the Patriots had 25 rushing touchdowns. Easy 42-45 touchdowns that year if he stat pads like the other clowns do
