Last week wasn't good evidence for that.

As someone (I think, Lazar) pointed out, Maye is inconsistent. His best plays are terrific, but he doesn't yet put bad plays behind him.

If you want to ruin a promising quarterback, give him an inept offensive co-ordinator and an inadequate O-line. That's what Maye had last year. Fortunately, this year he has a great offensive co-ordinator. If anyone can bring him on, McDaniels can.
Drake aside from the gaffes like the fumbles has made strides. It's easy for us to pin point the TOs wich i agree are inexcusable. Drake has a play makers mentality and I think you always want him to have that.. it's an element that Drake will learn how to handle as his career goes on. I'm a full believer in Josh as well.

I am a full believer in Josh and Maye, but last week Maye had an int., fumble, and two more near ints. That is way too many. Maye is better and keeps improving but the mistakes keep happening too.

Your right. Drake himself no matter what his coaching are teaching him is the only handling the ball. He's going to have to learn how to minimize the TOs.. his TOs are so similar to how Josh Allen was earlier in his career.. he was always trying to make something out of nothing rather than just taking the sack or throwing it away. He's coming along nicely and that's the most important thing that can come of this season and beyond.

Couple of things:
"make the cowardly move of continuing to talk about my opinion without tagging me"
I have never tagged anyone, don't even know how to, not cowardly at all, but attack the poster if you will.

"You demand that I must agree with you."
Please show where I demanded you agree with me.

"I simply state my analysis"
So your analysis is not only better than mine, but Chris Simms, Ty Law, Drake Maye and Mike Vrabel.

"but you have done nothing at all to change by analysis other than wish for a process in qbing that doesn’t exist."

I've provided more than enough evidence, paramount of which is open statements by people involved in the play, and guys that played the game. You ignore all that because you can't admit you're wrong, and insist "your analysis" is better than people involved in the play.
You said you were done responding to me then responded to other peoples post, talking about me, so that I don’t get an alert
Like everywhere else in the digital world using the @ ie @DoubleDeluxe tags the other person.

You demand I agree with you by making comments such as I never admit I am wrong, numerous times, claiming an appeal to authority, and walking away to continue to argue where I can’t see it.

There is no doubt that the result would have been better if he threw the ball higher. But that is not what his assignment on that play was. Do you have any evidence from anywhere that the play called for Maye to wait, pass up the open receiver on time, have him adjust the route and throw to the corner?
The argument isn’t about what play would have worked better it’s abut whether Maye executed the play the way he was supposed to.
But let’s make it about the poster but the argument, context and facts, that always works so well.

The only stat that matters for Maye right now are TDs versus interceptions and fumbles

Total yards and completion percentage can be misleading.

Steady improvement with fewer mistakes and more clutch drives should be the goal this year

Other stats are unreliable signals of whether Maye is good or not

I'm not ignoring you on purpose, my responses are there for all to see including you.
I stopped responding to you directly because it was quite clear that you weren't moving off your opinion, so why continue to debate it with you?
I believe your post above is the first occurrence where you said a higher throw would have been a better play. I could be wrong, my memory isn't an iron trap.

Yeah, well I’m not talking to you following ny taking about my opinion responding to others is a pretty clear intention.

I never disagree in hindsight after the play was over it would have been a better call. But that’s not what the play called for. All along u have says Maye executed the play as called and it was a td if not tipped. And that a qb cannot hesitate to throw and scout out whether a dl might tip it.

I'm gonna say it right now: Drake Maye will be the 2nd best QB in Patriots history.
