Nope. The roster is the roster. One of Bill’s failures is he has no competition at QB. He released Zappe. Nobody else wanted him. We have seen why all preseason and the last couple weeks. First let’s see if Grier can supplant Zappe as backup. Until that happens, Mac is the guy.

I finally understand what that's supposed to mean. He's the cook in that scenario and his teammates are the garbage. Not sure how that went over my head but when I read "garbage" my mind locked onto Mac Jones and wouldn't let go. His teammates should love that as much as Bill and BoB will.

Assuming that came from a halfway credible source (I'll have to scroll back to see the source) then Mac is done on this team after that. Especially after last year's ****y stunt of complaining to O'Brien about Patricia. There won't be any riding it out with Mac until the end of the season.

Zappe is much worse than Mac. Mac was bad again, but we're also getting every serendipitous bad bounce possible.
The OL still sucks. Brown is back to Mr. Hyde. Mafi & Reiff are clearly not plan A.
The running game stinks, and we still have the "good on paper" WR corp that can't get separation. And whether by stupid coaching or now concussion, Pop only gets 1 target a game.
This is the break glass situation for Kraft. It's so clearly time to fire BB. Or force a retirement. He's sunk this team the last few years with too many bad decisions. The team was absolutely giving up by the 2nd quarter. They haven't been ready for a game in so long, I don't remember it.

And I’m not laying the entire blame on Mac. The entire offense has played poorly. 18 pts in the last 3 games with 2 via a defensive safety? Mine as well see if a qb change will have any impact on the offense. Can’t be worse than the last few weeks.

Reiff was plan A. That's why BB got a lot of flack for signing a guy who's ancient in football years.

Today , none of the players played good including andrews, trent brown or anyone. This is akin the the pats loss in cleveland vs mangini or the 31-0 drubbing vs bills in 2003. The horrible part is that it came a week after a similar performance.

When does Bob Kraft get some blame? Didn’t he say there were going to be major changes last off season?

This just my theory - BOB and klemm and mayo extension were all kraft additions. BB maybe didnt disapprove but kraft went around BB as he can as a boss and did this including announcing to the fans that they are searching for OC etc. who knows - after the all insubordination mac jones pulled last yr , BB didnt want him but kraft overruled him ?
Kraft as we know it loves himself too much so he will do whatever is needed to make him be seen in good light.

No. It ABSOLUTELY can get worse with a worse quarterback.

It's imperative they find a way to get the running game going. Start there.
