That's a strawman argument. You could also say that Patrick Mahomes couldn't save this team right now.

That still doesn't make Mac Jones a franchise QB. He's a joke and we need to look for a new QB1 and look to overhaul this entire offense. Obviously that includes rebuilding the OL and looking for playmakers on offense as well. I've never said that getting a single piece will 'fix' this offense. But a real QB1 is where you have to start. But getting that alone is not how you finish a rebuild.

His answers were crap too. Hunter Henry and David Andrews both seemed legitimately pissed off at the podium, very upset. Mac was doing the usual fake chipper routine despite looking like he just finished having a crying session in the bathroom.

This is where the vets like Andrews, Slater, etc. need to go to Bill and tell him Mac needs to take a seat.

I have suffered through a 2-14 Ron Earhardt season & two Rust & McPhearson 1-15 seasons in the past as a season ticket holder

Maybe we were use to losing, but none were as painful as watching this offense from hell.

This may be one of the worst offenses in modern day NFL history.

One of my biggest fears today is the thought of Belichick picking the groceries in 2024.

Agreed! Grier should get a look. I was duped I NEVER thought I'd see this team quit! This team has quit. There is no turn around imminent for this team. I'd take last season right away over this BS. My fall/winter is going to suck with nothing. This team looks like a bunch of quitters.. never thought I'd say this about a BB coached team. Change needs to happen and unfortunately it will need to start with BB and New GM and QB See what Grier has to offer..

I really don't think this team even believes or has the confidence that you can overcome this and win again. All those little mistakes, it reminds me of that quote by Shane Falco:

LOL! I have been on this board for nearly two decades and I have never been afraid to admit when I am wrong.

My opinion about Mac Jones changed the last two games because he has completely imploded. He played well the first two weeks considering what he was dealing with, but when you implode like this things change.

And my opinion about Belichick has evolved because my opinion about investing in top flight receiver talent has changed with the league changing.
