Maybe they needed to be called soft for their soft ass performances. They played much harder this week, even if they gave up some plays.

Coaching may have been poor but he wasn’t wrong about the players execution and I never had a problem with Mayo’s comments.

Even our fans abuse these guys. I've heard criticism of Gonzo, Marcus Jones, Keion White. Gonzo and Keion made a bunch of plays today. Even Marcus was not that bad. They held the Jets in check.

The two PIs are Marcus were bogus, as was the one on Gonzo. The PI on Ellis looked legit except for the fact that Hall had already run out of bounds before Ellis made contact.

Why he wanted to go to the Jets is beyond me.

With the guy’s ego, I wouldn’t be surprised if he wanted to show up Brett Favre, that he could make the same move at the end but actually win.

They could not be worse.

No matter who owns the team, coaches it or plays on it, they're still the SOJ.

Not gatekeeping anything; I just don’t get it.

I paid $140 for row 8 in Wembley. I doubt that even gets you in the door in Foxborough.

If I lay that much out; I’m getting ALL the Gameday ambience Win-or-lose.

Have been thinking about watching the Cards/Pats game on the road when it was $44 to get in the door. Price bumped up to $50 which may be too rich for my blood.

I like Marcus Jones but today was rough for him.

Bad match up for him - true.

That said, where was the defensive adjustments? The Jete ran the exact same play, out of the same look, literally twice in a row to big success. No over the top help or even changing coverage type on those consecutive plays?

I get that the talent disparity is massive in many of these situations, but by the same token there are ways for scheme to reduce that especially if an opposing player is getting "hot". Doesn't mean you have to totally take something away somewhere else permanently, but at least make the other team adjust too.

@Rob0729 made a good point as josh Allen went through the same thing and he didn't go into protocol however Drake did. Hmmm..

It does not bother me that he was ruled out ... to the side of caution is always good.
Also he did not get up quickly ... like he started then stopped ... definitely his bell got rung.
Next time hopefully he slides head lower.

JB did what he does best, come in as a backup and play mediocre enough to win.

I'm very curious what intel we get about Maye's situation. Was it the NFL that made him get pulled/checked, or did Mayo decide to do it? And if so, why?

I could kind of understand Mayo being cautious... We've just watched Tua for several years on multiple occasions play through games he really shouldn't have after hits to the head, and perhaps he thought it was wiser to sit him before anything else bad happened and guarantee him a week to get over any head injury vs. keep playing him and risk another hit that does real damage. That would really hurt his career.

In the end they get the best of both worlds - kept Maye safe and still got the big win.

I think he got his bell rung.
Drake wanted to continue to play. So my guess is his symptoms were not severe. Hopeful
Once Mayo knew the medical staff was involved into a possible concussion
They either told him he was out or if it was independent then he did the right thing by taking him out
He can’t tell how bad it was and would have been thrown to the wolves if he let him back in and Drake showed signs of the concussion.
Plus he is the most valuable commodity on the team.
Caution was the only call
