He's in eligible receiver in the national football league. He should always be expecting a pass. At worst that's a tackle for a minimal gain. We've seen tom make those throws all the time.

But it's stidham's fault. lol that's fresh.
He was the target on the play call. Matthieu wasn’t even all that close. Good chance he cuts inside after catching it and Matthieu can’t even make the tackle

Bradyites are still whining about Tompa Boy not being here? Lmao. Gtfo with that trash

Belichick’s defensive scheme with the Giants against the K-Gun Bills in SB 25 was sort of similar no?
Not really. They focused on stopping the pass, but you did not take those Giant LBs off the field. But they let Thomas have a day.

Lol, every other poster in the gdt last year was calling Brady washed up and noodle arm and saying he should retire. Nobody was saying he was showing promise. Can't disagree about Stidham, not a great performance.
I never did. I said it was 100% the talent and this year is proving it. Brady was making the throws, they were getting dropped. We led the league in drops. Brady was fine the first few weeks when the offense was healthy

At 2-2 next week amounts to a must win game. It's a home game vs a bad team, a game Pat's should win. They're already 2 behind Buffalo. You absolutely "rush" Newton back. You take a real chance at 2-3 going into the bye with either of the 2 bums that played tonight. 2-3 with 3 of your next 4 vs SF, Buffalo, and Baltimore... Not what you're looking for

I dont disagree with it being a must win, 2-3 is a death knell. However, Bill will decide if it's best to put cam in with, at best, one day of practice, based on the NFL's guidelines.

When the schedule came out, I said, well, I won't be all that happy about it, but I can live with a 2--2 start.

The MVP of the league last year says hi.

There are so many dumb posters here.
Lamar still isn’t accurate. If he couldn’t run and didn’t have a very fast offense it would be a different story. You have to look at what the whole team does and not just final outcomes

We have a good team, should be 4-0. The D is somehow better than last year's even with all our LB's gone. The running game looks real good, and Harris could be a star in the making. The WR's have been better than expected, except for JE of all people. Stidham is a talent, would've been good tonight if he'd started and/or with a week of prep, and he'll be lights out next week vs Denver.

We're solid, I'm really pleasantly surprised.

2-3 would not be great. That would be two AFC losses.

What we learned tonight is that we have a really good defense and what happened in Seattle was an anomaly.

We were never going to get the first overall seed so I'm not too bent out of shape about the loss.

Bill pulled hoyer at the right time and stid wasn't any better.

Get well cam.

Hate to criticize 2 of my all time favorite Patriots, but...
- Edelman. He's looked bad all year, capped off with a horrible drop for a pick 6 tonight. Can't get his arms up quick enough, just like at the goal line in Seattle. Plus he looks much slower. He's not healthy, but will he ever be?

- Belichick. How can you start Hoyer tonight? or at least bench him at halftime after than unforgivable sack, to give Stidham a fighting chance. Also, what about throwing the gd flag on both the interception and the punt that hit the returner's leg?
He couldn’t throw a flag on the int because forward progress isn’t reviewable and the punt didn’t touch the returner.

What game were you watching? Just curious.

He didn’t look good, but not particularly bad. Edelman was awful. Bad pick over the middle not leading the receiver enough in the end zone. That should have been a TD. Hoyer had one of the worst performances I’ve ever seen from a QB. No hyperbole. The lack of awareness from a veteran is mind boggling. If you can’t make a simple throw, at least do the semi-smart play once in a while.
