At this point I don't think it's a "bringing the team together" problem. I think it's a "most of the WRs are physically incapable of beating man coverage" problem.
Well, the started to find some things out there. Meyers deep middle was open before the PI as was Dorset. Harry fought hard for the end zone. Moving Edelman to the outside opened things up.

You apparently didnt watch the same game

You mean the same game where their either punted, got a FG blocked or turned the ball over on like 10 straight possessions?

Yeah that is all on the refs

Not gonna win in this league when your offense depends on gimmicks. This OL cannot block, the receivers cannot separate and the running backs have been reduced to our third down back. Sony disappears after the first quarter every week. I just don’t see a solution to an offensive line that can neither create running lanes nor protect the QB.
It has to be coached up. We aren’t throwing 5 incompetent OL out there. The play calling isn’t addressing he weaknesses. These receivers aren’t he far less capable than everyone else’s. If they struggle with quick separation then scheme it. Stack them and cross them at the line to get free releases. Change up the blocking schemes. Put a 6th OL at TE. There is a lot they can do.

**** this "rely" on the refs nonsense. You shouldn't have to OUTPLAY THEM. You idiots aleays say the same ****. This is in no way ome of those times. If you run the NFL, you fire his dumb ass or you just don't give a **** about the product on the field.

This offense has shown they suck regardless of the defense they are playing. I've never been this confident in a patriots team losing in the playoffs. Sucks, but I think the writing is on the wall.

The NFL denied itself the opportunity to have a great overtime game. Instead, they Deflategated the game.

He called an easy Patriots victory FYI. Whenever he does that, bet the house on the other team winning. Just don’t bet him because he’s broke and won’t pay you.
Not shocking...

Man. How anyone sees an afc matchup that will very likely have seeding implications meaningless is beyond me.

The pats left more plays on the field than the refs did.....move onto Cincinnati

harry injury probably ends his season now

Well see. Could be a hip pointer. Any tweets on the severity? Or just questionable with a hip injury?

You said the same thing last year and was wrong, hopefully your wrong again this year.

My point is that I've been right all along, the offense and the quarterback are not good enough this season...am I wrong?

The Pats don't quit and that is a good sign. Offense is clearly limited but if the defense can play like they did in the 2nd half and create turnovers this team has enough to compete with any of the top teams in the AFC. Favorites - no - but good enough to win against anyone.

And?

Blood. On. Their. Hands.

If this team doesn't secure a 1st round bye (which is ultimately the only relevant consequence of this game), the league and Boger's crew are a large part of that.

Gotta win out, which I hope they can (although I'm not very optimistic).

Cincy and Miami should be wins, but they're not as terrible as they were earlier in the season; can't take those guys lightly. Going to be hard to muster the mental energy to get up for a trip to Ohio. We'll see.

I fully expect the team to get up for Buffalo. Whether or not they can execute and win is another question.

This game was meaningless. We aren’t getting the one seed. We proved despite having one of the worst offenses in the league. It takes the refs to get us beat by kc at home. It’s going to come down to whether we can beat Baltimore on the road.

The issue is offensive talent. Encouragement by showing heart doesnt change the fact the wide receivers cant get open besides Edelman, and the offensive line is Jekyll and Hyde.
They did start to get open. Dorset open. Meyers deep middle was open.

The chiefs scored 3 pts in the 2nd half for 28 yards or something. If we play defense like this in the playoffs we always have a chance . No offense in the AFC is unstoppable. But the biggest issue pats need to fix is their redzone plays . It will automatically boost the numbers. Josh is having a worst yr than brady is IMO. He has no feel for this team's playcalling.
