They looked like a team that dealt with a massive event all week.

They still put up 35 on us and beat us by 12.
Agree
Looked like a minimal O game plan by Buffalo
And Allen just tossed TD bombs anytime NE felt empowered with hope

Back in 1999, Pete Carroll got fired the first time he missed the playoffs in his 3 years of his tenure making the playoffs in the 2 previous years. He dealt with a ton of injuries including Bledsoe in 1998 and horrible draft and personnel decisions by Grier.

Bill misses the playoffs 2 out the last 3 years without Tom. What does Robert do?
Bill gets the benefit of the doubt for one more year with a new coordinator and hopefully additional talent around Mac. But next year will likely be a critical one depending on how it goes.

Oh but I was told Tom could do it all?
The Tampa Bay Head Coach sat Tom Brady in the 3rd quarter when they were only sitting on a 3 point lead. So that loss can't be laid at his feet, It was the coach's decision to DNP him. Hard to affect the game from the bench, don't you think?

Uche is a 1 trick pony. Him giving up contain to try and rush inside was directly responsible for 1 TD and also a huge 3rd down conversion. He’s a sub-rusher not a cornerstone player IMO.
Sure, he's not an every down player, but he was pretty damn disruptive this year. He and Judon are the highest sacking tandem in the league. Need to build off of that.

14 points via KO returns.

Allen and the whole team looked off at times. KC will demolish Buffalo if they play like today vs the Chiefs.
Those 14 points could have been scored by the offense as they would have had the ball.

They were lethargic especially at the start for a good reason. Unlike most I thought we had a better chance after what they have gone through this week than if it was just any other week.

At 17-14 in the third I thought they had a real good chance. And just before the kickoff I thought, they can’t do it twice in a game, right? That and two bombs from Allen and game ovah

Agree, nothing wrong with Uche, he is a tremendous pass rusher and will be an integral part of this team going forward.

There’s exactly a 0.0% chance Belichick will EVER be let go lol.
Guess we’ll see. I don’t mind him staying, just can’t “run it back” with this disaster of a staff. Also don’t want him anywhere near the Free Agency lever.

please pm me who and I will make sure it is deleted.
Ash I got sucked in by Smurf because he pissed me off and will stop.

No team in the league was going to go into Buffalo this week and win...period, not KC, not San Fran, not Philly, not Cincy....this was an impossible spot and we played very competitively.
Disagree. I was of the opinion we had the best chance to win this week than any other time we played them over the last couple years.

They looked like a team that was tired and took them a while to get going.

After arguing with me about how someone wasn't trolling 20 minutes ago... then comes here to fight about Tom...

Are yall really going to derail this thread with TB vs BB nonsense again?
It's not even derailment imo.

The fact of the matter is that most people would not have expected the Pats to miss the playoffs 2 out of 3 times since 2020.

Except we have to decide whether or not to offer him an extension or let him play on the final year of his deal.
