Whenever I think about Brady's greatness, I think of 2006. His best receiver might not have started for any other team and yet, he got the job done. Rodgers and Peyton and even Montana needed great receivers, not Brady. He makes mediocre receivers look good, good look great, Moss the all time season leader in TDs. That's also a credit to Belichick who realized why spend money and first round picks on receivers when I have a QB who makes average guys good? I'll spend money and early picks on defenders. I f'ing live it. And instead of whining for all pro receivers, Brady takes a pay cut and focuses on winning rather than stats. We fans are so spoiled.
I wasn't on here for 95 % of the first half, but the 5% i was there were neg comments. There was a game a few years back when the pats were winning by 30+ points and people were complaining about the "style" of how they were winning.
Maybe Gronk and Chandler pitch in more than expected to limit damages. Would be big bodies to help. But that potentially takes away from a versatile O.
I wonder how many fans are going to become as cynical as me about the military appreciation hype on NFL broadasts given the recent disclosures. I wonder how much the Pats are being paid for Gronk's camo elbow brace.

If the Pats won by 50, next week everyone would expect them to win by 60...and say they played badly, if this new bar was not met. I see this with other sports/players, as well. If a Red Sox hits 22 HR one year, many expect that he'll hit 32-40 next year, otherwise he had a bad season.
