So when are you going to start complaining about the (apparently by your standards) bogus TD the Patriots got on the Edelman reception when Cannon blatantly, blatantly held the Miami DLman? Or are the refs only deserving of criticism when a call goes against us?

They are complaining because it's what Patsfans gameday threads do best.

Amendola made the catch, he could not bring it to his chest to complete simply because of a good play by the CB to knock it out.

It was not a drop or a choke (i can't believe i logged in and this has become the narritive on this board), he beat his guy and made a play but unfortunately the CB recovered and made a great play on the ball.

Ghost missed a 48 yarder i think, he smashed it but it just missed to the left. He then gave the Dolphins great field possition by kicking the ball out of bounds. Unfortunately after a spell of great performances he didn't have his best game today.

It wasn't. The Pats had some excellent, very long drives and Brady was on fire throwing to Edelman and Amendola. It simply was a very tight game that turned on some crucial plays including a couple uncharacteristic mistakes by the Patriots. The Pats could have won it and probably should have.

The lack of a go to redzone guy will be the downfall of this team with gronk being out

What about Amandola's 4th down catch was that clutch? So he made a clutch catch and then chocked...come on guys, he made one great play and failed with the second time...most overused words has to be clutch and choke.

Tough loss and now there is no chance they can get home field. There is only so many times they can have a miracle last drive to win the game. I thought the defense really let them down today. With all the injuries the defense is where it was 3 season ago. The problem now is the offense is not much better so they are no longer able to bail them out.

Pats punchers chance at winning the SB ended when Gronk blew his knee out.

Then it was no good, because neither was Baltimore's kick. I loved the video that was on YouTube, from straight behind the goal posts, that showed the kick went wide right, yet the refs called it good. Not surprisingly that video disappeared from YouTube.

Yep, mcd bailed on the run. Ridley needs to show up so mcd doesn't bail on the run. More hurry up also.

Brady didn't choke. Brady to minitron was one of the few bright spots of the afternoon. I don't even think Amendola choked. I think it was a good defensive play on a perfect pass.

The out of bounds kick off was the real choke.

I really hate when the Patriots try to get a little too cute. Just kick the ball out of the freaking endzone.

And that 3rd and and 2 near the goal line after a big Blount run, not using Blount to finish it was a play call I didn't like at all. That was also trying to be cute.

Our offensive line is so overrated. Brady makes them 5 times better than they are.

Who said Brady choked? WTF? He drove them down the field in 60 seconds and threw three straight potentially game winning throws. The throw to Amendola was a beauty. The defense made good plays on each. What the heck is wrong with people.

Yeh think JD gets a little too pass heavy and tricky for his own good sometimes. When your 1st or '2nd and two you have to run.

But I did like the play offensively today and I thought the defense did ok given the problems they have. Miami is no cakewalk defense right now.

I thought the gronk hangover was going to be too much but they got it out of their system and will be ok going forward, I still don't know if they can win next week though.
