They had "depth" last year. Mac got killed. You should know, you had faith in the Patricia offense more than anyone. What happened?

And yeah more or less the guys in the room aren't great or have health issues.
It was at this moment that you lost all credibility. The notion that IOL depth was not an issue last year (or wasn’t a need going into this draft) is laughable. I don’t necessarily agree with the choice to draft 3 IOLs but it definitely was a need.

Who are we going to spend that 2m on at this point? You can't sign any starter level player for 2m. Free agency is pretty much over, there's only scraps left out there. I'm also pretty skeptical BB is going to cut a veteran that hit on 85% of his kicks last year. It just feels like a waste of a 4th round pick.

They need the cap space to sign all the draft picks. Don't look at it as 2M not being enough to sign a player. All the cap savings add up.

I had a friend in college who was always running out of money and bouncing checks. I told him to stop eating takeout and buy some ****ing groceries. It would be cheaper. He said takeout wasn't the problem because it was only "little money" and $15.00 wasn't going to make or break him.

I met a lot of morons in college. But this guy didn't understand the concept of a lot of small expenditures adding up to a big number.

Saving 2M here and 2M there matters. A lot.

And this kicker should be better than Folk. And it will be nice forcing the other team to start at the 25 yard line after KO's this year.

I've been hoping the Pats could trade 2 of their 6ths to move up into the 5th again..

They had depth, but not quality depth. I agree, definitely a big difference, and they obviously took steps today to improve that moving forward.

it doesn't matter that they weren't Patriots UDFA. They were still UDFA. Connolly was a Street Free Agent when the Pats signed him.

The OP was inferring to UDFA OL who played for the Pats. And I pointed out several others that fit the bill. Ones you conveniently ignored.
Whatever, disingenuous at best. Hey BB's great at getting UDFA WRs. He found Wes Welker.

I can bring in 10 joes off the street and call it depth. Doesn't mean its quality. Tackle was more of an issue. They now have 7 or maybe 8 interior guys and if Trent Brown goes down at tackle they are ****ed. Thats the difference.

whelp...there goes the best name in the draft. To'o To'o

And some of us will wait to see the results, while others will attack it before they even know what it is.
Lol will they? I had people on here tell me Duke Dawson wasn't a bust because another team wanted him when he was cut. They will also twist the blame to make sure it isn't on Bill. "Brady didn't want to be here" "It's Patricia's fault the offense was a mess" Bill can do no wrong.

you gettin' ready to pay out on Jack Coletto? Prob. tomorrow, but you know how we are w reaches. I mean, just ask these guys
I'm rooting for you. It will be a great bet if it hits.

BTW.. What's with all the QBs being selected. I think there's been 12 now..

No. It wasn't disingenuous. Just because YOU assumed things that weren't said doesn't mean his post was the issue. It means YOU made assumptions.

I was agreeing with him about it. Hypocrite
Sure you were.
You calling me a hypocrite is as laughable as you calling me a dope. Feel free to disappear like you always do

Bill really can do whatever he wants and half the board would defend it vigorously.
1000% and if you dare question Lord Bill’s genius you are told not to watch the games anymore and get insults fired high and inside.

Picking 3 interior lineman when you have a desperate need for a competent LT seems dumb.
Almost as dumb as asking a defensive coordinator to coach and mentor your 2nd year qb.

Bill has repeatedly shown he does many dumb things and at 20 million a year he deserves to be questioned and criticized for bonehead decisions

Its the only accountability he has

True but if you bring in 10 Jones, now that is defensive backfield quality.

Sure you were.
You calling me a hypocrite is as laughable as you calling me a dope. Feel free to disappear like you always do
Feel free to blindly follow everything this team does and talk **** to posters like you always do.
