They were also able to contain a great QB basicaly score-less for 1 half with that strategy. Why would you change if it worked?They've given up 2 TDs. So it's worked out absolutely no better than if they dropped 8-9 guys and kept everything in font of them and traded yards for time.
Well to be fair Tom, the Falcons did score 540 points (176 points above the league average) and are the 7th highest scoring offense in NFL history -- tied, ironically, with the 2000 St. Louis Rams! (aka, Greatest Show on Turf)
Atlanta also played a tougher schedule than us -- against some really good defenses
