****** Official NFL regular season transactions and injuries thread ******

Ingram is just a big name at this point. He hasn't been good for several years. But I guess a sixth rounder isn't all that much for a team that is desperate to improve their defense.

Are you implying the Chiefs would ever prioritize big name reputation over actual cost/production value?

Never.

There are unconfirmed claims going around Twitter that Ruggs was intoxicated and is alive but injured. Law enforcement says at least one fatality, while a second is rumored but also unconfirmed.
After looking at the pic of the two cars how anyone survived is beyond me. Sheesh.

All the trade talk was for naught. I just didn't get how any team could make a major trade like this with so much uncertainty. Looks like no Watson trade and no Watson playing in 2021 for sure.

Some interesting names hit the waiver wire:
Jaylon Smith (LB), Avery Wiliamson (LB), Caraun Reid (DE), Jonathan Williams

Charlie The Omen II Omenihu >>>>>>>>> Dee The Overpaid Wise.
Charlie The Omen II Omenihu has a whopping 11 tackles, 3 QB hits, 1 TFL, 0 sacks, 0 PDs.

Dietrich Wise has 25 tackles, 2 QB Hits, 1 TFL, 0.5 sacks, and 3 PDs.

But, yep.. Omenihu is just so much better.. ROFLMAO.. More proof that Captain just doesn't know what he's talking about.

Wait! I thought Rob said the Dolphins couldn't do due diligence. Hmmm

That's your problem right there. You tried to think. You shouldn't try to do things you are obviously not good at.

I said the Dolphins couldn't do their due diligence and decide to trade for Watson before the trade deadline with 22 open civil cases, an open criminal investigation, and no idea of Goodell would give as a punishment. And you know who agreed with me? The Dolphins and Stephen Ross.

Hey, I am glad you rushed here to rub into my face that I was right though. You're the best.

Stop clowning yourself, not a good look.

Michael Thomas had a setback and will not play this season.

I certainly don't want to look like you. Thanks for the heads up. But how can I clown myself without your undeserved righteous indignation?

I assume if they can get out from under his contract, this could be the final straw for the Saints. They have already had a really strained relationship over how Thomas handled his injury during the offseason. Now that his delay in treatment cost him the entire season, it might be enough for them to dump him in the offseason if they can.
