Challenge that for 8 yards? That's like a Rex challenge
more like moving the ball closer to the endzone to change playcalling and help if pats go 3 and out.might not be a bad challenge

Yeah BOB go ahead and challenge. Do you feel good about gaining 1 yard back?

He is a bit unsteady out there....when he clean catches it and has a little room dude can be really good....but just don't feel comfortable with him back there....

He caught it clean and had room that time.

Solder is a monster, he was their biggest loss last year I think. He doesn't get the cred other top-tier LTs do but he handles his business.

Can't believe anyone is complaining about anything NE is doing - they are beating a playoff-caliber team that has a lot of good really good players (including the best WR and best DLineman in the league) with a rookie QB who wasn't supposed to play until 4 years from now, if ever. They are controlling field position, playing smart, and holding a solid lead. This is how they won games for years before we started expecting 40-pt routs every week. Don't do anything stupid, outlast the other team. Need long plays by Brissett? Seriously? We need him to not turn the ball over and complete some short passes. Instead of beating them by 20 or 30, we beat 'em by 10. Win's a win, especially given circumstances.

Awesome. Post of the night so far.

Brisset runs a 4.94 40, according to the combine sight. Shows that decisiveness, and confidence could clount more.

Even though the bad call went the Pats' way here, why do I think the refs let the non-fumble go as a fumble because they were hoping that the Texans recovered it.
Im seriously getting that feeling. For the NEP to be 3-0 w/o TB pisses everyone off ..excluding NE

Can we get to the next play already

Well that was a long time wasted over 7 yards.

Logan Ryan has been right there on every throw to Hopkins. All have been great throws and catches. Nothing Ryan can do on these really. Hopkins is not from this galaxy.

I gotta say that this is one of the big difference between a player like Ryan and someone like Arrington. Arrington was often affected by losing a few of those 1on1s and then often mentally folded. Ryan seems to be able to shake it off easier which is pretty important for a CB.

good protection. have to make that throw/catch

I don't like the challenge, they will win it but it's what, 8 yards?? Wouldn't you want to save that?

Probably not. The number of games where both reviews get used (let alone both get used and one or both are upheld, and this one was obviously going to be changed) is probably negligible, especially relative to the statistical outcome of a drive that begins at the 18 versus the 25.

Dang. Well maybe brisset runs for a 90 yard TD

Thuney needs to get his act together

Cant get used to Wilfork on the wrong side
